ok i missed it tonight.. :(

Each contestant sang two songs. The first was a song from the year they were born and the second was a selection from the Billboard charts.

Didn't look to me as if anyone had a perfect night.

I missed it as well.

Anyone mind giving a rundown?

I expected so much out of this Top 5. I was disappointed
there was no best of the night.

I think Taylor was the worst though

None of them we great by any means.

I thought Taylor needed a little work. I love when he gets into the song, but he just wasn't on.

Chris was ok, just normal rocker Chris. I think he will get a deal no matter what, but I don't think I want him to be the winner.

Elliott was ok, but again not great. I liked his second song better than the first one.

Katherine is my fave, but she didnt do good on the first song. The second one I liked, but it was wierd seeing her on her kness moving around. Maybe that's the only way she knows how to dance lol.

Paris was ok too. She is my least fave and its hard for me to like her at all. She is too overdone with her crying all the time and her voice when she talks bothers me. I hope she goes home this week. I wasn't into her songs at all.

it was bad enough she attempted it, but then she didn't even come close to doing it justice! She gets my vote to go just for that.

I head last year's idol final song this morning and thought:
What if Chris is in the top 2. Will they write a non-adult contemporary ballad for him?

I really do like Chris and I want him to win, but he needs to do some other songs besides the rock ones, it is getting old. I go back to last year and think how Bo was into the rock songs, but A) they were classic rock (a little bit more the taste of the AI crowd) and B) he didn't do them every week.

I really love his voice and want him to win, but sometimes I get bored with his songs because most of them sound the same!!

... Then we'll be left with Bo and Carrie.. umm I mean Chris and Kat :p (although I do think Kat is way better than Carrie U)

Eh, I think Elliott really wasn't in the bottom two. They're just trying to spur people into voting for him. (I am a conspiracy theorist.)

I heard somewhere that once crazy Paula cried for Elliott that one night his ratings went up and he got more votes. Did you see how she was all into his song and was up and dancing around like a fool? I swear she is on drugs...

I agree with whoever said they think it will be Elliott to go then Taylor and were left with Kat and Chris.

I think Chris needs to sing some other stuff. He has such a nice voice.

I am glad that Paris is gone too- I liked her okay but I knew she was next! I would like for Elliott to leave next and then Taylor...HOWEVER, Taylor has never been in the bottom three or two! The closest I remember him being to the bottom was when they divided them into three groups of two and he wasnt in the bottom two or the top two, just the middle.

We need be careful about that- I think Taylor has a lot of fans! Hopefully Katharine and Chris have more though!

well I like elliott..

i think taylor needs to go next, and I think Katherine too.. I think she really thought that she was going to go home last night. she looked so exhausted.

personally i think chris is the most "sellable" at this point. He is good, but I doubt I would end up ever wanting to buy his music. Thats usually how I look at it.

Elliot is very very talented. I think it would be interesting to see what kind of music he put out.

As far as "sellable" singers go, the only person I would pay money to see in concert is Taylor, even though I don't think he's the best singer. Chris and Elliot I probably wouldn't even bothering listening to, and depending on Katherine's song selection, I probably wouldn't either. None of them, except for Taylor, seems to have any real personality to me.

You know, you people are making me think... Why do I even watch AI anyway? There is not one person whose CD I would want to buy, or whose concert I would go to unless it was free.
