Both of my orders have FINALLY shipped! Hell froze over

Same for me! It's only been a week and a half!

Of course the order I put in first was the one that shipped last. The Christmas present one (the Chi O scarf for goddaughter) will be here on Friday

I never got an email that my items were shipped but I did get my items today. So all is well.

I got 2 items, but today I got an email saying that I would not be getting the third because they sold it to me when it was not in stock.

bummer.

If you look on the facebook page that happened to a lot of people. It really surprised me and it is really bad business. I'm sorry!

This is only my second sale so please forgive me if this sounds greedy. Last year they gave out a special gift/surprise, a key chain thingy. I figured they did that every year, I didn't receive one this year, so I guess it isn't normal?

Mine came yesterday; a couple of things I don't remember ordering, but obviously I did. One of the girls can wear it.

I got my stuff last week! Love my two new tops, the skirt looked better on the model :( but I'll still wear it.

Love my Alpha Xi scarf! Much thinner than I thought--I was not familiar with Lilly scarves, but it's still nice.

So...becoming a Delta has totally pushed my obsession with elephants in overdrive...I walk in the bookstore to rent a book (I would've rented ALL of my books if we had that option in undergrad!) and I came across the Lilly Pulitzer section with a line of elephant stuff!!! It's so cute! I may have to look her up and see what else they have!!!

Hoping for some new items in the collection, too!

I noticed that they brought down the prices of a few of the items - the murfette scarves are now $48 instead of $88 (I think?). Hopefully this will make the line more affordable to collegians.

I've got my fingers (and toes!) crossed for Gamma Phi, but I'm happy that they've decided to continue the line at all!

The murfette scarf was not worth $88 by any stretch of the imagination. I got it for my daughter for $28 during the sale, and that was about what it's worth, in my opinion. It's cute, but it's very thin fabric, and short.

The two dresses my daughter ordered were both great. We had them shipped to her sorority, and we both laughed at the large number of Lilly packages waiting in the mail room when we moved her in this past weekend! Looks like a lot of sisters took advantage of the sale!

SUCH a marketing ploy! And they don't even need it! Girls are going to buy Lilly no matter how many or how few sorority prints they release. This is like holding a treat above a dog's head and yanking it away every time the pooch jumps.
