There was a commercial about the next episode about 5 minutes into this cake boss show.
Apparently Kate and Maddy are in California while Jon's at home with the other seven kids. Kinda like how Jon and Cara went skiing in Utah while Kate was at home with the other seven kids? |

I think it was kinda funny to be having white arrows to point out where the paparazzi were, like duh, we know you're there!
Was it my imagination where one time Kate gave someone some cake but didn't give Jon any? Sad when she acknowledged early in the episode that she knows that she's been mean to him all these years...then why haven't you improved!! Like it's mentioned, they rarely were seen just normal holding hands, smooching. I realize it's hard to do all the time but it seems like the camera(s) would have picked it up more if it had been there. |
I don't know what to think about this episode. I'm hoping it not a publicity thing like Chaos says, cause I felt for poor Kate. It was really sad to hear her say that she didn't want them to be a statistic of other families with multiples.
And to watch them do the group interview with them trying to stay at the opposite ends of the couch was really :(. |
When you think about their odds of making it, it's really tough. First off the multiples thing. Add into it the statistics of married couples that stay married throughout the course of their reality shows... even if couples don't divorce they have serious marital difficulties.
It just sucks. I've been a fan of the show (not obsessed and I don't watch it every week but I do tune in for the premieres and try to catch the marathons) and I can't say that it's a complete surprise that it's going this way. Even if Kate hadn't behaved so meanly to Jon I think it would have gone this way, to be completely honest. |

Most depressing evening of TV ever.
|
They already talk like a divorced couple. They both admit their focus is the kids. They never really talked about the other spouse. You can't stay married just for the kids.
|
I feel sorry for Kara and Maddy who, you know, are going to have someone at school say, "I saw your mommy crying on tv...etc." It is obvious that both of the older girls know something is up.
Also, for everyone who has remarked about the exploitation of the little ones, I think the chance at a normal childhood has gone by the wayside as the media craze has been ratcheted up several notches. When you have to give instructions about the paparazzi waiting outside the party store before you can unload the van, that is not normal. IMO, the "I do this all for my kids" slogan is wearing thin. The marriage has suffered and now the kids will suffer. Time to get out. Write a book about the strain multiples and reality shows put on marriages and cash in... It is really a sad, sad situation. (as are most divorces) |
Wait. I missed this episode. Jon said he didn't want to be married? At what point did he stop wanting to be married? Before the twins? Before the wedding? WHEN?! That is a very confusing statement for someone who is married to make.

btw, like Jon would ever admit on his "family" show that he cheated. He acts like him saying it didn't happen is enough to quash the rumors. I call big fat liar. No way is a man in his early (mid?) thirties hanging out with a twenty something who ISN'T his wife/gf/best friend/etc getting wasted at bars if something isn't going on. I also thought it was interesting that Kate never said "I believe that he didn't cheat". She only said "Jon made a mistake..." TLC must be thrilled, I bet last night was a ratings bonanza. |

they need to TURN OFF THE DAMN CAMERAS!!!

I didn't watch last night's epi, and after reading everything I've read today online, I'm glad. I honestly don't think I'll watch it ever again. It's just a sad divorce documentary at this point. Those poor kids. |
