I am thoroughly and utterly disgusted by this season. First Jessica, who may not have won, but is certainly better than some of those folks still in, and now NIKKO?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Instead of putting Vonzell and Nikko in the bottom three, folks need to turn up their TVs and listen to Anthony and Constantcrap. Ugh, I'm so pissed right now...the wife beater stays and the eye candy/good voice leaves. He better believe he's dreaming the impossible freakin dream. :mad:

I'm shocked. Scott should have been in the bottom 3 but not Nikko and certainly not Vonzell. I was hoping for Constantcrap or Anthony to go home this week but their fan base is obviously huge.

WTF??? I didn't get to watch tonight. I'm annoyed!!! Scott or Harry Potter should have gone. The rest were ok, some better than others. Even Constannoying sounded ok - it just weirds me out to watch him, he's so slimy. I thought Nikko had an interesting take on his song and at least he knew the words.:mad:

Scott or Anthony should have gone. NOT Nikko! And WTF was Vonzell doing in the Bottom 3? She had one of the best performances of the night!

mini hijack on Constantine, I was reading the newest people magazine (I think it was people) and they had the finalist of AI and they listed what they had been doing prior to AI and I was shocked to read that he played Roger in the touring company of Rent this past season (2003-2004). What's funny is that I can totally see him as the part of Roger but I can't see him as the next American Idol.

so i didn't get to watch the show last night and I don't get to watch wednesdays (sorry Alias conflicts and I have class so I only can record one or the other and Alias wins). All i care about is that Carrie doesn't get the boot. Even though I've missed her last couple of performances she is by far my favorite of the group.

Did simon actually say that he thinks she will win AI and she will sell more albums than all the other AI winners? I read that in a magazine and wasn't sure if it were fact or not.

I am so freaking ticked off that Scott and Anthony and Constantine are still in the competition. They are so terrible IMHO *and others it may seem*. I am a huge fan of Nikko *gotta support my hometown* because he is nice eye candy and can sing and puts his own spin on the songs that he sings. Last night wasn't really a good theme night for the Idol contestants, I thought that Nikko make it work for him. I don't know what happened because I called for Nikko all night and got a busy signal most of the time. And I texted my votes in too so I know that those got through. I wish that the teeny boppers would get smart and start voting on talent and just not on looks...not that any of the three that have such a teenage following are cute, but what can we do. Obviously the cult following for those contestants is too large that those who actually vote for talent. I guess from now on my votes will go for my second fav Carrie. If she goes, then I don't know who I will vote for because Jessica has already been voted out. I am really close to not watching anymore.

I have ultimately decided that I cannot tell a bad singer from a good one; unless it is really obvious. A couple of weeks back, Vonzell sang a great song and I thought she did awesome; then all three judges, some nicer than others, said it did not sound too great.

Either way, I think Anthony should have gone home as well, or at least have been in the bottom three!

I like Carrie, just hope it doesnt all go to her head- the way Simon always says good things about her- even some that he shouldnt be saying in this stage of the competition- especially when he said he thinks she is going to win and sell more than any other winner. That is not really fair to the others- its not even down to the top 3 yet! :rolleyes:

Seriously... WTF was that? I mean Scott SHOULD have gone home. Really... I was certain after the Smoking Gun thing. Even Anthony though his own performance was crap.

First thing that went through my mind was... Don't you DARE 19E get rid of another girl... because then we KNOW you are playing with the vote totals. But Vonzell did not belong there at all.

And Nikko... saddness. :( Though I kinda figured a Charles Grigsby fate would be bestowed upon you.

And Scott beats out NIKKO AGAIN!!!!!! WTH!

Argh... this show blows. But yet I can't stop watching this train wreak.

But I do want to say that I kind of enjoyed the Ford commerical tonight. Sad I know. But I like commercials that transition like that. IF they were doing something else besides singing, it could have been another VW commerical. Yeah I know... I'm demented.

Didn't some get thrown off last year for being accused of doing something similar to that but was fighting the charges? why did he get the boot and scott got to stay?

I hate that Nikko went out tonight. I always liked the boy. I'm still missing Jessica. Can't stand Anthony, Connie or Carrie (yes I'm in the minority, but I can't stand her. At all.)

Hopefully Scott and Anthony will be gone soon, and then it'll be a free for all.

I think this season is rigged. It's complete BS.

Here's my take on things (and I know some of my opinions aren't popular ones).

I think Carrie, Nadia and Vonzell all appeal to the same audience. I know they are my three favorites. Vonzell stepped it up a couple weeks ago and really started to shine so people started voting for her like crazy to "save" her. After Nadia made the bottom three the last two weeks, the people who were voting for Vonzell switched to Nadia to make their point that she shouldn't be in the bottom 3.

The only people I talk with who hate Constantine are the people on the internet. The women on the radio station I listen to in the morning LOVE him. The women I work with who watch the show LOVE him. Most of these women are in the 30-40 something age group. He appeals to us because he is like what we liked in the 80's. Long spaz hair, intense eyes, etc. He is the wild side/bad boy type that we longed for but didn't have the guts to go for. We all married safe, stable accountant types and we love that bad boy! As the women on the radio said "He's like the ideal Detroit Rocker". He seems like a typical Motown boy.

To any fan of West Side Story, Nikko butchered that song. Hardly anybody can sing that song well. It's written for sopranos and tenors and he was totally off key in the beginning. Each week, his songs start out weak and get strong at the end, but he needed to be strong for the whole song, not just the ending. That said, I think he should have stayed one more week because Scott should have gone. I can't figure out why Scott is there at all. The guy is such a downer. I don't remember ever seeing him smile, his voice isn't that great and he just seems to always pout. Even after he was told he was safe yesterday, he looked depressed. I don't think he has any stage presence at all.

My faves: Carrie, Nadia, Vonzell, Bo

Neutral: Constantine (I'm not personally a fan of the wild side/bad boy type)

Bottom: Scott, Anthony, Anwar (his vibretto stuff is really getting to me and I think it's a way to seem like you can hold a note a long time when you really can't!)

I'm surprised nobody said anything about Fantasia and her yeah yeah yeahs. UGH!
