Haha. I will try. I've got a job (working with veterans), but I'm actually considering going back to become Dr. Violet. I know, I'm crazy.

I'm considering it too, madness I know! But I want to get some work experience in me and figure out precisely what I'd get the Doctorate in, it could be interesting to branch in an entirely different direction or become highly specialized in *something* what ever that is.

That is a VERY good field, especially if you are credentialed enough to qualify as an expert witness in family courts. Those who qualify and who are actually willing to subject themselves to examination and cross examination are few and far between.

I'd probably have to publish quite a bit to pull that off, or make it my life goal to read and mentally file everything ever written on some of the topics. But it's certainly an intriguing idea. Trick is, counselors bill by the hour, and being paid to be a witness is a hit against the credibility of your testimony, is it not? (All I know about law comes from L&O/reading about the Prop8 case) So finding some financial stability first is key.
