The Alpha Sigma Phi pledge pin is worn over the heart with a collared shirt; when in a suit, it's worn on the left lapel, as it the tradition of most fraternities.
We do have a shield pin for initiated members that is worn on the lapel, but the badge itself is always worn over the heart. |
Alright, now that the show is over, I just want to know when the Party Bus is leaving??! I'm already packed!! :p

Damn Mtv editors!!!!!
Votes for Steve, 7NO, 16 yes, 8 abstain (or something really close to that)
EVERYONE ELSE==== Adam says "29 yes, 1 abstain" then puts his cowboy back on his head!!!!!!!!!!! EACH TIME Why show the same results for everyone??? Why LIE? At first I was all confused about why one brother would abstain from each vote. Then I figured "Biff" the pledgemaster must have abstained. But he says he voted no on Steve. Finally I realize most likely Alex had 29 yes with his brother abstaining. Paul is the only other one that I can think could possibly get that kind of result after all the others being told "you don't have the votes". |
Just for everyone's reference, I have an extensive compilation of all the news articles surrounding the FL:2 boys and KoiGate here.
This thing is even showing up in overseas news reports. |
Ooooh ooooh I know the answer!

It's because they didn't want a brother who wouldn't bother to do anything but try to get OUT of things! I don't care if the man was red, green, purple, yellow, etc. - he didn't deserve to be a member and they shoulda given him the boot long ago!
YAY for Tim to point out the obvious - maybe he's moved up from complete and total loss to trainwreck status in my book! Steve shoulda been man enough to walk downstairs and tell his brothers goodbye - he is just a lame-a$$ and I am glad that he didn't get what the others (who worked hard most of the time) deserved. A little bit weird there with Jarreau and Tim not letting each other go...just a bit...tad uncomfortable... LOL at Earl - despite his need for anger management, he definitely brought some life to this party! |

I so agree with your observations 110%! Earl disrespected just about everyone and he was initiated! And Steve made an "89", cmon folks, lets get real here. I smell a rat. I didn't like Steve, I thought he was childish, but he deserved to be in the fraternity if Earl got in. |
I agree that it did look a little suspect that the brothers waiting until they were about to cross. I think that if BOTH Earl and Steve were showing signs that they weren't on point (and trust they were showing that rather early) then I would have had to be like, "Um, time for a meeting!" with my chapter. They would have had to go earlier in the game. But then again the whole line was not on point at times...let's not forget that beer pong table.
I still stand by my statement that I'm glad that Steve didn't cross, because like I said, the entire time he wasn't on point. He was disrespecting his LBs by not being on time to events, not studying and being on the "up and up" with frat information. He was not on point during pledge session--ya'll remember that extremely early during the process, he was bitchin about having to go to study session with his LBs or spending time with them up in the Union. He threatened his LBs. He sucked all around. Now Earl, he also sucked in the beginning by acting very spoiled and whiny, and also he had to grapple with his "anger management" problems, but I did see an improvement with him as the process went on. He may not have been serious about it at first, but then he stepped up a little bit. I didn't see a big change in Steve at all...but now he's acting all remorseful because he didn't cross over with everybody else. Hello...this is not a free ride. If the rest of your LBs can step up then he could have done it too. So while I agree that it could have been handled in a better way (because don't get me wrong, the brothers REALLY could have done that a lot better), Steve didn't deserve to be a brother. But that's just me. |
Earl disrespected a brother days before they were initiated. Earl fought with his LBs right before initiation. They told Earl he was the worst pledge!
I didn't think Steve should have made it but neither should Earl. It's amazing how Earl can be forgiven all of a sudden and not Steve. There is no balance here. Shady, just shady. |
I thought they said that about Steve. I must have missed something.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree about Earl. I thought he straightened up some in the end. And again, I totally agree that they way they did Steve was shady. They could have handled that a lot earlier. |

I know! I watched the finale this weekend with a couple of my boyfriend's fraternity brothers and they were talking to the TV..."ok, you can let go now....really, let go....are they *ever* going to let go?" lol |
