Ok. When you've been here actively POSTING for longer than, um five fucking minutes, MAYBE, just maybe I'll give a shit about you or whether this is a "fun" reply or a "serious" reply. Until then, put your big girl panties on and suck it up. You don't like it, there's an ignore button. But, you should know that already.

Oh, and using halfway proper grammatical styling and punctuating takes two fucking seconds.

Telling someone to fucking capitalize and punctuate is still more intelligent looking than someone typing like you.

omg i cannot even tell you how bad you hurt my feelings.. (Note only two periods as you did when trying to use an ellipsis.) what will i do with my wittle self now that you've "told" me off?

Oh, and by the way, insults and expletives fly constantly. Don't bother flattering yourself by thinking you've upset me. It takes a lot fucking more than the likes of you to get me going.

You're dismissed.

I <3 Tippiechick!
:p

tri deezy 09-24-2008 08:52 PM

I'm not afraid of Tippie. Seriously? Jesus, this is ridiculous. FYI- I've been reading and posting on GC since 2003 (not five minutes) with a different name. I'm going to go back to watching Keith Olbermann talk mad shit about McCain/Palin now.

Maaaaan! I wish I had 5 bucks for everytime someone said that.

SWTXBelle 09-24-2008 08:56 PM

Interesting use of the flounce, though.

tri deezy 09-24-2008 09:00 PM

Tippiechick insinuated that I'm a "newbie" and I'm not. I changed my user name because my old one gave away a lot about me. Just because a lot of people supposedly say it doesn't make it untrue.

agzg 09-24-2008 09:04 PM

The flounce is my favorite part. But it was a false flounce this time. :(

Or was it a "faux flounce"? :D

agzg 09-24-2008 09:08 PM

Faux flounce. I like that. Kinda like faux fur. It's the humane way to punk out.

SWTXBelle 09-24-2008 09:13 PM

Plus it is fun to say. Three times fast!

Faux flounce.
Faux flounce.
Faux flounce.

"F F" for short.

tri deezy 09-24-2008 09:29 PM

Where was the flounce? That I'm watching TV while on GC? Not very dramatic and not a threat to leave forever.

SWTXBelle 09-24-2008 09:42 PM

Hence, "faux flounce".

SWTXBelle 09-24-2008 09:44 PM

Taking the time to NOTE that you are leaving a thread, whether forever or the time being = FLOUNCE.

agzg 09-24-2008 10:32 PM

Right. But it was a faux flounce, in the sense that she came back.

The reason I like the flounce is because I don't have to read their posts anymore. Is that mean?

Even so, you only post 33 times in over a year? You're a fucking newbie so shut the hell up.

Is F-squared acceptable?

Ooooo . . .I like it. It sounds slightly dirty, though!

AOII*Azra-elle 10-01-2008 01:59 PM

My mom was in a service organization, but I am the first in my family to join a GLO. I didn't really think about joining one until I was 21 and had transferred to a university that actually had a Greek system. My best friend drug me to sign up and go through with her. I wish now that I had taken the initiative myself to do so.

ThetaPrincess24 10-01-2008 02:18 PM

18.

iris_DPHIE 10-04-2008 12:15 PM

18, summer before my sophomore year of college. Befoe college, I knew nothing about Greek Life!

Then, BRB would be a Flounce/Faux Flounce?

Why would someone type BRB in a forum, though? I would think, if they were taking the time to type BRB - then yes, it would be an F-squared.

deepimpact2 10-29-2008 07:10 AM

I first thought about it at the age of 12. I grew up around the organization because my mom was a member and so were most of her friends. So I was exposed to it early.

Silmanarmo 10-30-2008 09:10 AM

I was 17 :p

r3dumbrella 10-30-2008 10:07 AM

My sophomore year. Honestly I was just curious about what it was all about when I signed up for recruitment. And then I ended up not going through recruitment at all--instead I researched all of the sororities on my campus and went to the open houses of the ones I was interested in.

jessica.lanelle 10-30-2008 11:18 AM

I started thinking about it when I was younger, around junior high when my cousins were joining sororities.

TriDPrincess 10-30-2008 12:13 PM

Not until I saw the fliers advertising greek life when I was a junior :) I am so glad I checked it out though as now I have a great sisterhood for life!

PiFect Harmony 10-30-2008 12:32 PM

My Sophomore year in HS I was just surrounded by Greeks and the Women of that sorority really had a huge impact of my vision of the greek life.

TinkerMel2 10-30-2008 12:58 PM

well.....

I didn't even actually think about becoming greek until I was going through rush. In all honesty I didn't even want to become greek. I was pretty much determined to not become greek because I wasn't one of "those girls." Turns out I was just listening to all the steriotypes that rean't necesarilly true.
