Also, Kappa and Pi Phi are the Monmouth Duo. Kappa and Theta are the 1870 Duo, or "Kite & Key."

Gamma Phi's original colours were two shades of blue???:)

No, they're two shades of brown, right? Brown and mode? What I meant was, as far as I know, we're the only two NPCs whose colors are just dark and light something. (Alpha Xi is close, but they're double blue and gold, so not quite.)

The ORIGINAL colours (not the colours now) were blue and blue - they were then changed to brown and mode. (I'm a geek for Gamma Phi history!)

How did I know you were going to post this here?

Because you can't let bygones be bygones?

Well, DARLIN', I don't suffer fools lightly.

agzg 11-24-2008 05:10 PM

If you knew it would show up here, why did you send it?

Just saying, logically if you would not like your PM to be posted in this thread, do not send the PM.

Write, then delete. I know that send button is really tempting. RESIST THE URGE!

That should be posted in the newbie thread. They're really the ones that looooooooooove the angry PMs.

SWTXBelle 11-24-2008 06:07 PM

FYI

The term "private" in private messages is relative. It is only as private as the recipient wishes it to be. So, if you send a pissy e-mail which makes you look bad, it may well be posted. You've been warned. :)

You know, I have kinda laid back and let things go. But, then I see you come back and start MORE shit like this. You are a bitch. You pretend to be all nice and want civility. Yet, you show none yourself.

You have been INCREDIBLY rude to Amycat, who had done nothing to you except having been excited for her team winning a football game.

You've been rude to OTW.

You've been rude to me.

Let me let you in on a little secret, dear... The Harem never forgets. So back the fuck off, bitch.

I mean . . . even if we assume you're right, why would you broadcast this so passive-aggressively when everyone knows exactly who/what you're talking about?

This thread makes me want to start cutting myself and posting the photos on myspace. I'd better head to Hot Topic at lunch so I'm properly attired. Jesus Christ.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!

SWTXBelle 12-04-2008 02:16 PM

There is a great deal of assuming going on - perhaps it is unwarranted.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

DrPhil 12-04-2008 02:18 PM

This isn't a thread for ambiguity.

agzg 12-04-2008 02:21 PM

I thought I was very clear that I think Hot Topic is funny.

Oh, you weren't referring to that?

SWTXBelle 12-04-2008 02:24 PM

OH - I thought this was the private message thread. I missed the "this is the non-ambiguous thread" memo. I've posted two general comments about private messages - and I would argue that they are general, not ambiguous, observations about the use of private messages. They are neither of them specific to certain private messages I have received - if you make the assumption that they are you are mistaken. Clear enough?

I really don't want everyone, me included, getting pissy about stupid stuff. So I'm dropping the whole thing - Merry Christmas.

And yes, Hot Topic is funny.

agzg 12-04-2008 02:33 PM

I feel incredibly validated now that others think Hot Topic is funny. Thank you.

/end hot topic hijack.

Why bring him into it? I guess I could have just pointed out that "post hoc ergo propter hoc" is a common logical fallacy. While I could hazard a guess at what you intimating, I wouldn't want to assume incorrectly.

I promise that if I want to say something to or about an individual it won't be ambiguous. If I write in general terms, it's a general statement.

DON'T tell me that "the seach function is your friend" if it's not an effing GC search. I'm not about to search the whole effing internet.

Being a sarcastic asshole like that is the EASIEST way to piss me off.

I got a PM from that Tinia person about the facebook virus. The first thing he/she said was "ep, like everyone says on here many times, the search function is your friend."

But he/she meant an internet search. The "search function is your friend" argument is only relevant on GC.

Tinia is a he. It's Jon1856, who changed his name for some unknown reason. (Jon, don't even bother to send me yet another private message, I won't read it and I could care less). Remember Jon1856? The guy who never posted anything without a link to something else?

agzg 12-12-2008 10:17 AM

ep I posted an answer to your question, dear, right in the forum.

You don't need to do an internet search. I just made up a name for it, anyway.

I can't blame epchick, I just realized it was jon1856 a couple of weeks ago.

What, the incessant linkage didn't tip you off? :p

epchick, I didn't mean to seem sarcastic to you. It was more sarcasm directed at Jon.

I think I tried to block it out, like when people are molested as a kid.

I only identified Tinia2/Jon (what, there's a Tinia1?) under hypnosis. Also now I have a new daddy too - win/win!

Haha, I don't deny I'm a bit flaky about these things. I've gotten about 10000PMs from Tinia, so I should have caught on sooner.
