Awesome swim today- 42 laps. 40 laps free without stopping, then a 2 minute rest and finally a 100 meter medley at warp speed.

icelandelf 08-02-2008 11:45 PM

Haven't been able to go to the gym all this week--I thought I had a kidney stone and it was pretty painful. I'm feeling almost better, so I'm hoping to hit it moderately hard tomorrow.

cheerfulgreek 08-02-2008 11:48 PM

Though I run before I go in to work in the morning, I've been thinking about taking up kick boxing. I was told it's a great way to stay in shape.

Benzgirl 08-03-2008 09:34 PM

Two hours of back-breaking gardening. Lugged 40-lb bags of top soil and compost. Shoveled very heavy clay out of the flower bed.

EE-BO 08-03-2008 11:28 PM

1.5 mile run this afternoon. Upsetting that I could not do more, but not so bad I guess. Right before I did some serious down and uphill walking in the full sun checking out a property in my ongoing search for a new house- and when I got home after the run I found out it hit 105 here today- so that makes me feel a little better. I had the physical steam to run more, but I was getting dizzy out there.

sageofages 08-04-2008 12:34 AM

Sunday is a rest day in this cycle. and boy I needed it.

DoctorD 08-04-2008 04:27 PM

.5 miles on treadmill [wasn't working for me today], 2 miles [20 minutes] on elliptical, 10 minutes on Arc Trainer, and 13 minutes on the bike.

Tinia2 08-04-2008 04:31 PM

off to warm up in the sauna then a hour of spin and then we see if we care to do anything else before the closer starts.

Scandia 08-04-2008 06:12 PM

Body Attack. Yesterday it was Body Flow. And tomorrow it will be Body Combat- same as Saturday.

EE-BO 08-04-2008 10:26 PM

1 hour full body workout followed by 30 minutes of racquetball. I was pretty worthless at the latter since I usually do that first.

Scandia- what are Body Attack, Body Flow and Body Combat? Sound interesting.

RaggedyAnn 08-05-2008 07:36 AM

I did an hour of Group Power yesterday. This is the first time I tried that class. I really liked it. http://www.quantumfitness.ca/programs/power.asp

I have not done Body Combat yet, but I love Body Flow and I enjoy Body Attack. Particularly when I can do Attack immediately followed by Flow.

Jill1228 08-05-2008 01:46 PM

Last night, I did a yoga class
Today it will be a workout DVD

EE-BO 08-05-2008 05:47 PM

Cool- thanks Scandia. I need to find some other stuff to do besides my usual routines and these look interesting.

Very sore today after yesterday- too sore to go all out doing any one thing. So did a 1.33 mile run and then swam 20 laps.

trideltrockstar 08-05-2008 08:51 PM

Today I went to the gym for about an hour. I did 10 minutes on the bike, 15 minutes of ab exercizes, and 35 minutes on an elliptical. Then I came home and went for about a mile walk around the neighborhood (very nice and relaxing)

sageofages 08-05-2008 09:19 PM

Ouch that does! Hope you are better today. I used to get bad migraines every few months as a child.

30 minute faced paced full body workout today followed by a 1 hour racquetball lesson.

ThetaPrincess24 08-06-2008 07:24 PM

I ran one mile, trail walked 1 mile, and piddled in the yard/gardens.

EE-BO 08-07-2008 09:57 PM

2 mile run this evening. My pace is definitely picking up (I only started running again regularly a few weeks ago), but frustrating I cannot get more distance. My one-time trainer and current nutritionist told me today that when we get cooler weather I should get a lot more progress on distance. Here's hoping...

DoctorD 08-07-2008 10:01 PM

10 minute mile on aerobic setting on elliptical, followed by Body Flow.

WarEagle07 08-07-2008 10:17 PM

Moved my daughter into her dorm....that counts right?

If you spent half the time my Mom did moving me in to my apartment freshman year, then it counts for 2 days' exercise. :p

EE-BO 08-09-2008 11:14 PM

2 mile run tonight. Better with the sun down, but still brutally hot here.

Benzgirl 08-10-2008 01:20 PM

Power walk for 6 miles (90 minutes), I would have gone longer, but I feeling a blister forming on my toe.

honeychile 08-10-2008 01:29 PM

Starting Tai Chi. Again.

alum 08-10-2008 02:16 PM

Doing spider crawls with my right arm to obtain pre-surgery flexibility. Strength will come later.

lillady85 08-10-2008 02:42 PM

40 min of cardio, crunches on the physio ball and lifted 8 sets of 15 reps on one of the arm weight machines!

OneTimeSBX 08-10-2008 04:47 PM

30 minutes of power yoga and 20 minutes of pilates for abs...

my a** is tired...

EE-BO 08-10-2008 04:54 PM

42 laps in the pool this afternoon.

LucyKKG 08-10-2008 10:22 PM

I ran and did some core exercises. Oof!

EE-BO 08-11-2008 05:55 PM

45 minutes of racquetball followed by a 45 minute full body workout with my trainer. Feeling sore already...

starang21 08-11-2008 10:10 PM

ran about 2.5 miles

ThetaPrincess24 08-12-2008 07:04 PM

walked two miles and did an hour long The Firm video/dvd/whatever with cardio and light weight training.

cutiepatootie 08-12-2008 10:50 PM

i walked from my classroom to the office and back ....woooo hooooo

EE-BO 08-13-2008 12:35 AM

2 mile run this evening- and at a fast pace. With the clouds the weather is cooler here and that makes all the difference. Going into the fall I hope to make much longer distance.

Scully 08-13-2008 12:40 PM

I sweated for 45 minutes on the elliptical last night. Tonight I'll be at barn jumping the ponies around for an hour :)
