At least a dozen PNMs who can guess what chapter their Lambda Beta (Light Bulb) is in

catiebug 04-22-2008 08:21 PM

And at least a couple of PNMs to ask about the reputation each brand of lightbulb has.

SigKapSweetie 04-22-2008 08:32 PM

6 GCers to explain - again - that we don't discuss lightbulb reputations on GC because some of the lightbulbs might be offended, and anyway, why do you care what some random internet strangers think about the lightbulbs in your particular hardware store? What matters is that you choose the lightbulb that will shine brightest in your particular socket.

Benzgirl 04-22-2008 08:42 PM

At least 100 GCers to ask if the Lightbulb was really the twin that wore the pink rhinestone pantyhose during recruitment.

IlovemyAKA 04-22-2008 08:48 PM

3 more to ask if they came introduce established lightbulbs with specific instructions to a community college

tld221 04-22-2008 11:05 PM

and one more GCer to bump the "lightbulb be looking like predator" and "H&A" threads.

nittanyalum 04-22-2008 11:07 PM

^^^and that hilarious "Scared of Lightbulbs" thread. Reduces me to tears of laughter every time.

1 troll to post about how pageant light bulbs make all of her crowns look wonderful, and how the Ole Miss KD bulbs made her look even better.

catiebug 04-23-2008 09:03 AM

A couple of high school girls to ask how they can get lightbulbs in their school.

Taualumna 04-23-2008 12:31 PM

6 moms ranting about their daughters not getting the light bulbs they wanted even though the daughters are quadruple legacies.

Alas, my sister, I shalt not take credit for that that is not mine!
It was on another forum I frequent, and the minute I read it I knew I had to bring it over here-with a few omissions, additions, and revisions, of course! And I have no idea if the person over there was the author of this, as no credit was given-probably not, me thinks.

Then, my dear sister, I congratulate your ability to adapt this for our fun! :p

1 vertically-challenged person to complain about the height of said lightbulb. Same person gives up on changing the lightbulb and goes on to write a blog bitching about some carpentry companies who refuse to make ceilings shorter just so they can reach the lightbulb without any assistance.

jon1856 04-23-2008 01:42 PM

At least one posting of someone dieing while changing a light bulb.
(All joking aside, thought of this just before I saw a news story of just that happening in a Government building the other day:()

DaemonSeid 04-23-2008 01:57 PM

1 post of someone telling how their roomate pledging an underground line got hurt and almost died in a 'hazing incident' while illegally (he fell of a human ladder and broke his legs) changing lightbulbs at the wrong time of the year against campus regulations because they 'were coerced' by the brothers of the fraternity (if they didn't change it they would never cross) and the parents contemplated suing the school, the fraternity and the company that manufactured the lightbulbs.....

Not to mention another post about someone who bragged about how their lightbulb changing process was harder than anyone else and that they was the hardest lightbulb changing line....ever.

Followed up by a post from DSTCHAOS telling that person "who gives a sh*t."

tld221 04-24-2008 02:34 AM

well see...what had happened was...from what I heard...because the underground lightbulb changing process had gotten so severe that the NPLC'ers (National Pan Lightbulb Changers) had to change the light bulb changing process.

Thus now all it takes is one GCer to post how they knew about people who skated through the lightbulb changing process after they had done hardcare lightbulb changing for all these years and that these skaters were just paper lightbulb changers.

Followed by 3 posts of people who changed lightbulbs ever since the lightbulb changing proces was enforced to prove that they didnt skate thru the process of changing that one lightbulb.

jon1856 04-24-2008 09:22 AM

Besides the above^^^^^^,let us not forget the whole matter of "Regional" differences, attitudes, and behaviors.

NinjaPoodle 10-31-2008 01:47 PM

ttt:D

DaemonSeid 10-31-2008 02:59 PM

How many GCers does it take to ressurect a thread.....

1 GCer who was actually bored enough to find this thread and bump it with unintelligible jibber jabber

Another GCer to cosign and start another tangent

2 more GCers who will follow to critisize the misspelling of "resurrect" and "criticize"...

5 more to post that they can't believe that anyone even bothered to start this thread up again

4 to follow the spirit of the thread and explain in thier own whacked out way as to how many GCers it takes to change a lightbulb.

It was bumped because of this post from earlier today.

And ttt is not unintelligible jibber jabber; it means "to the top," i.e., bump.

NinjaPoodle 10-31-2008 04:15 PM

hee hee:D
Yeah, what Mystic Cat said...

1 member to argue over what their abbreviation meant when they bump the thread.

3 more to point out that has nothing to do with lightbulbs.

17 to jump in and tell everyone how special they are because they went shopping this morning and bought new lightbulbs.

DaemonSeid 11-01-2008 11:14 AM

and one GCer to say "I didn't know and keep it going"...hehehe!
