Yeah, how old are you guys? And, how much money do you guys have?

I do have to admit I go to the nutritionist on Campus once a month, its a free service to students. And I also book an appointment with the PT (personal trainer) again like once a month for an hour . Its like $40 bucks, but it has so helped my workout because they showed me how to do the exercises properly not rush through it, or use poor form.I totally see and feel a difference.Also if I am having a problem with an area they show you new exercise to work that muscle. I don't know if this is just a southern thing, but what about the Mignon Faget tulip necklace? I think just about every girl on the row has one!! And don't forget the low cut V-neck shirts to wear it with...down here we call them "boob shirts"!

I think the Minon Faget jewelry is just a Louisiana thing - she's based in New Orleans.

FYI for all you who don't know, Minon Faget (pronounced Min-yon Fah-jey) is a jewelry designer based in New Orleans. She's also a KKG alum from the chapter at Newcomb College of Tulane University http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Actually Mignon Faget is a Chi Omega from the Rho Chapter at Tulane. It's in our national magazine. I have some pieces too that I got for graduation. It's kind of like Louisiana's replacement for Tiffany's jewelry in terms of status pieces.

That's right, she was a Chi-O! Sorry! KKG and Chi-O are the two best houses at Tulane and I guess I got them confused.

No one down here has the Tiffany heart bracelet ('cept me http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif) but we all sport the MF tulip stuff like crazy

I looked on the Mignon Faget website, basically for information about where I could get it (I'm about 3 hours from NO). I found the online store, and frankly, I prefer MF to Tiffany's. Not because it's cheaper (which it seems to be), it seems more unique. Plus, I'm from the South, so I love to represent while I'm in New England! The tulips were so cute! I an understand why someone may have thought she was a KKG...she has a "Louisiana" line which has a lot of fleur-de-lise jewelry...I loved the stuff!

i checked out the website, and the mignon faget jewelry is great!! it's cheaper than tiffany (by a little bit)... it's more unique, at least where i go to school, and it's of top quality. i just ordered the silver tulip ring and pendant. so cute! and i've never seen anyone wearing them... unlike the tiffany heart bracelet that EVERYONE seems to have.

I think that is probably because Mignon Faget is typically a New Orleans thing. You guys are right though, her pieces are extremely unique.

I dunno if this question is off the wall but where do you guys get your Kate Spade? I have been tempted many times to buy one off ebay but im not sure if those are authentic or not. I only have one KS purse and I got that as a present from a (rich)godmother so i guess that was luck...then my other KS purse, I bought it at Neiman M. as part of my "therapy" for my broken heart as I know shopping always calms the spirit--even for a short while...but of course that will be the last one coz I don't wanna suffer from a broken heart AND a broken credit card, lol. So do u guys "make sure" and buy it at a KS store or at authorized dealers such as Neiman Marcus, or ebay or somewhere?

Ebay is pretty legit for Kate Spade stuff. Usually, the seller will include the paperwork with the authentic bags. I've gotten pretty good at spotting fakes on eBay, though. If you don't feel completely safe doing eBay, Nordstrom has them in the stores, and you can buy them on NeimanMarcus.com. Because I'm home in Florida, there's no store for me to feed my KS addiction!

I LOVE HERVE CHAPELIER BAGS! They were kind of a big trend at my school this year... not the little teeny ones but the medium and large ones. I love all the colors they come in - my favorite is black with a hot pink top and bottom!
