I'm telling John and a moderator. Sending PM now.http://www.splbassx.com/forums/style...lt/compute.gif

I no longer know who I am typing to.

But if you know the real PB well enough to send a very private PM, you might also know him off the board. Contact him off the board with your very private thoughts. :)

DSTCHAOS a sock puppet? That's laughable. No one could post that smart. At least not on this message board.:)

It's funny because I remember a while ago someone started a thread "Who do you wish you could post like" or something like that. I said her and someone else who I can't remember by name anymore. But I remember her being one of the two.

ROTF!!!!! I had to scratch my head because the one she quoted at that moment was the real PB (and I didn't have to look at his post count to know that ).

I did see a video in psych class where someone dressed as a "nerdy Asian," then a camera followed him around and showed how angry other Asians got at him for "perpetuating the stereotype."

I love to wear flats but flats don't go with every outfit and with every event. ;) Plus, the flyest librarians wear stilettos with pencil skirts.

What are pencil skirts?

Straight cut skirts usually right at or a little bit above the knee.

Ohhh, yeah. I guess I like pencil skirts then. It's conservative, but at the same time sexy as hell.:)

I'd half to go with Very High. My opinion is that I can have everything I want in a man because God created me just for him. So, if I am his missing rib then our souls will be meshed. Not that we won't have challenges but when it's an "ordained" relationship the storms can come but it won't shake the foundation. IMHO-if you start to settle the bar may become invisible and then you end up with "fire marshal Bill"..lolol!

Mine are very high...finding someone with an education, career, no kids, faith(moral values), with no drama is hard to find...yet I am willing to try and date men of other races since my expectations are so high. But finding "Something New" is often times socially unacceptable.

Ronnie B 04-30-2008 09:29 AM

I have a girl, but I haven't been the most faithful dude though. I'm not married to her, so I think it's good to get it all out now, rather than to do it when I tie the knot. My standards are medium I guess. I'm not looking for perfection. I'm not perfect so how would that look with me trying to get a perfect woman?

Why is that socially unacceptable?

I'm not sure what you mean by finding "Something New" but if finding "Something New" is acceptable to you, wouldn't that be what's important? Who cares what other people think?

She may not think that it socially unacceptable, but on the other side it may be a different story. You would be surprised to know how many people think it is unacceptable to mess with people of different races.

KSUViolet06 04-30-2008 09:53 PM

I don't find anything wrong with dating outside of my race and have done it before. If someone has the things I look for in a mate, I could care less what race they are. If someone doesn't like it they can kick rocks.

I agree. As long as she's fine (has nice legs and pretty feet):), has good morals, respects herself and treats me right, then we're good to go.

LMAO @ they can kick rocks. LOL LOL LOL.:D

Dionysus, this is the problem. The fact that I'm not surprised is what's sad. She brought up that it's socially unacceptable. I mean, if she doesn't care if it's socially unacceptable, then why even bring it up?

I totally agree with KSUViolet. Why should anyone let an outsider determine who they should or shouldn't be with? Why should race even matter? The mumbling, the eye rolling and lip smacking.....ya know.....Whatever!

That's SO stupid to me!

How is that? All I said was she ain't gonna find a dude like the one she wants. She said no drama. What dude has no drama? I have a kid, and if she doesn't want the dude to have kids that's one thing, but a dude with no drama? She's dreamin'.

There are men and women with no drama. You might not able to relate to that but that sucks FOR YOU.

Shave some excess fat off of your life so that you can do better.

Everyone has drama. I think her problem is she's not lookin' at the common denominator in her bad relationships with these dudes. The common denominator could be her. But everyone has drama. You're pretty naive if you don't think so.

I'm just sayin' though. Who doesn't have some kind of drama in their lives? That would mean we're all perfect. Maybe she needs to clarify what she means by dudes with drama then.

I'm positive she doesn't mean she expects a perfect man with an absolutely perfect life.

You never heard people reference removing the drama from their lives?

Yeah, I heard of all that, but that could mean anything. She made it seem like she wants a dude who doesn't really have a past. We all got that. I wasn't trying to be negative, I was just being realistic. She'll be single for a long time.

We all got issues, including her.

That's cool and all that you don't mind interacial relationships, but expect you and ol' girl to have some mad drama.

I didn't think you were trying to be negative. I thought you have low expectations. :) Some people need drama to feel special and alive. ;)

Everyone has a past of some sort because the past comes before the present and the future will make this present the past. And everyone has concerns of some sort. That doesn't translate to "having a past" (in the automatically negative sense of the word) and "having issues" (in the dramatic sense of the word).

I'm feelin' what you're sayin' here, but I don't feel my standards are high or low. I have to set them to fit me. What I'm tryin' to say is I'm not perfect, so how can I say I want this in a girl and that in a girl. I was a player in my past. Still am light weight. My girl has two kids, one from me and one with some other dude before me. When I first met her, I wasn't down with the kid at first. I had to ask myself how can I hold that against her if I got a past myself? That's all I'm sayin'. I just think it's a trip when a dude or how ol' girl said she wants this and that, but she ain't lookin' at the common denominator. Her. But I feel what you're sayin' though.
