(soon to be 36...)

Good grief I didn't even think that the 20th was coming up til I read your post. I have three years to mine. I didn't go to my ten year. I found something else to do.;)

Hi. I'm 30something and I think the 80s sucked in terms of just about everything. I don't ever want to hear that music again.

Am I the only one?

Yes :)

Although, I'm getting sick of people thinking the 80's was all about the stuff that was in the top 20.

No kidding. It's like every time there's a new 80s compilation out it's some combination of the same 30 songs that are on every other 80s CD. I'd like to hear some of the more obscure things...some of which I probably haven't heard since the 80s. :)

O.M.G. I'm going to agree with valkyrie.

80s music brought suckiness to a whole new level.

I was all into the pop music in high school... But then I started listening to N.W.A. the other day with "Gangsta, Gangsta..." and it just reminded me of the good ole days of gang bangin'...

I think there was the lucid early 80's music that MTV popularized then there was the underground hits that MTV tried to suppress until too many folks started quoting it--so they decided to make money off of it...

Hmmm, I plead the 5th? :)

I went to my 20th year reunion last night. It was so much fun. It was nice to catch up, see the baby pictures, reminisce and dance to the oldies.(if you can call 80's music that;) )

Class of 85:D

Feeling old? This past Friday I met with classmates from my photo class to complete a group assignment. One of the girls that was there was one of the youngest in our class. She and I were talking and age came up.
So she says "I was born in 1986 "
Me  "Wow, I had just been out of high school for a year when you were born." Oh sh*t...
