She has been on her job for the past 9 years and today she went into work the doors were shut-AOL in Jacksonville. They closed the call center and didnt tell the employees until today. I would like to ask that you pray her strength and faith during this process.

Please pray for my family as we are dealing with my great aunt. She has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's and my mom and I are trying to help her get evaluated so we can find a place for her to live. She is loosing weight because she has it in her mind she can only eat certain things so she only eats one meal a day! We are working with her doctors but we cannot get her to do the things she needs to. She has more lucid moments than strange ones but by refusing to take her meds the line is shifting. It is very draining on my mom who isn't the healthiest herself. Also my cousin just started dialysis yesterday and is scared to death. Thank you GC

I hear exactly what you are saying...I need a peace of mind too...we all know God has a plan for us, He has even given some of us visions of His plans...my problem is that I know what He promised me but what do I do in the meantime...the meantime is a trip...it's hard waiting for things to happen in your life...and with peace I will be able to trust His plan and be more patient...I will keep you in my prayers and you please do the same for me...

That is so sad I am so sorry to hear that. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and sorority sisters who will miss her dearly. Are there any sorors who will go to her ceremony to send her home properly?

Please pray for my family and the members of my grandparents' church. A fire destroyed the church last night. I know that a church is its members, not the building, but I do ask to pray for them to give them strength during the next few months as they work on rebuilding the church. I have one more request.

I am about to make a decision in my life that some people in my family may not like. I really want to do it and this move will help me move forward in my career and give me the opportunity to continue my education in the field I want to pratice. My boyfriend left last week for London where he will be working for at least the next five weeks. Please pray for me. I'm lonely. Also, please pray for his safe return and our happy reunion.

May God place within you the spirit of completeness and fulfillment. May He allow you to know that with Him failure does not exist! I felt the same way when my husband and I stepped out of my parents house with only me working a full-time job and I am hear to tell you that the devil is a liar, we have never had a bill unpaid or utility turned off. God has always provided. We went through unemployment twice and without a bill unpaid. Hallelujah. Praises be to God. Girl step out on faith and God will do the rest.

All happened and/or happening to me right now. I'm soooo sad. Mastercard people keep calling me every other day asking me for more money. I'm basically a broke grad school student working 20 hrs/wk. My bills severly outdue my monthly income. I'm about to not pay a lot of them in October, it's just so sad:( But I know for sure I'm paying my electric, phone and car note if nothing else. It's just you try so hard to make payments on time every month, and then if you mess up one time, your credit goes haywire. The key, well for me, is to just be appreciative of the things that you have and try not to worry too much about the negative. Don't worry about paying your bills on time, just do it. Don't worry about losing your job until you get laid off/fired. I will pray for both you and Marie.

Kappafriend's father passed away unexpectly last night. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My godmother was taken in for open heart surgery this morning. This is her third surgery and I just ask for everyone's prayers. She did not want her family to worry and so did not tell anyone until last night. She has always dedicated her life to everyone else at the expense of herself and if By God's Will, I am just asking for the Lord to give her a little more time for all of the love and support she provided to other to be returned and bestowed on her.

My friend's great-grandmother died Wednesday and the funeral's tomorrow. She lived to be 104, but he and the rest of his family are taking it hard. Please pray for them during this difficult time.

Hello everyone. It has been a long time since I've been on, but I've been quite busy. The last time I posted, I wrote about my mother who was having her second bout with stomach cancer. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my mother went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2006. It's over: her suffering, pain, and weakness. The last few months have been very hard for me. I cry all the time. I can't sleep, I hardly eat (I've lost 20 pounds). I've lost my best friend. What am I supposed to do without my mother? I miss her so much. My heart is broken. I'm in such a dark place. Each day I pray for strength and solace. My boys are 5 and 6, and they need me. My six-year old came to me a couple of days ago in tears. When I asked him why he was crying, he told me "My birthday is coming, and Grandma is not here to be with me. I miss my Grandma." Then it hit me. As I held my son to comfort him, it occurred to me that I was being selfish in my grief. I'd forgotten that my children lost someone, too. She was very close to my children. I completely forgot that they miss her too. My 5 year old has autism, so I'm not sure if he'll even remember her. But when he sees her picture, he points and says "Grandma, Grandma".

I'm sorry to go on like this. I'm telling you, I've never been in so much pain. Everyone keeps saying it takes time. I stay in prayer, but I have to tell you that I don't think it's working. I know my mother is an angel now. I know that He had to call her home. But I miss her--her voice, her smile, her cooking, her friendship, her hugs. I'm crying right now. I've got no place to put my pain and heartache. So I humbly ask you all to keep me in prayer that my broken heart will heal, and I can move on with my life--with Mama watching from above.
