LOCALSORORITIES! I see that you list AbFab as one of your favorites. Have you ever had the chance to watch The Young Ones? It's another British import with the same dry humor. I'm not sure if its on TV right now or not though. ------------------ ~@~Tracy~@~ Proud to be a Delta-Z http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif [This message has been edited by KillarneyRose (edited May 21, 2001).] |

Wow, you guys listed some good ones...here are some of mine (in no particular order):
* My So Called Life (best show ever and yes I still have the episodes on tape!!!) * Punky Brewster * Saved By The Bell (before it got even cheesier that usual w/ the new casts) * Mickey Mouse Club & Kids Incorporated * The New Kids on the Block cartoons * Baby Sitters Club * Ready or Not * Clarissa Explains It All * Different World * Blossom * Models Inc. * Hanna Barbara Saturday morning cartoons * Living Dolls (w/ the wife from King of Queens...does anyone else remember this?) |
OK, I am about to show my age. My favorite TV show (mid-70's) was The Kids from Caper. It was about this group of teens who solved mysteries and crime. I had the biggest crush on "Randy". He always wore this blue "Saturday Night Fever" kind of suit with high top Converse. His hair was parted down the middle and feathered a la Sean Cassidy. Other favorites are Get Smart, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Chico and the Man, Maude, Alice (Kiss my grits!), H.R. Puffnstuff, The Hairbears, Dark Waters, and WKRP in Cincinnati.
Kindred: The Embraced is also a favorite vampire show but it only lasted one season. The main character died in real-life due to a motorcycle accident. Kolchak: The Night Stalker and the Groovy Ghoolies. I am also a HUGE Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fan and tonight is the series finale. Tuesday nights just won't be the same without Buff and the Scooby gang. I have heard that it will be in syndication next season on UPN so there is some salvation. CRMSNTiDEGRL717, The show that you may be thinking of is Head of the Class. It starred Howard Hesseman as the teacher, Charlie Moore. He also starred in WKRP in Cincinnati as Dr. Johnny Fever. |

Living dolls was a spin off of Who's the Boss. How sad that I know that. I actually watched it. I think you and I were the only ones. Punky Brewster was my FAVORITE show as a kid. remember when henry got sick and they had a six-part cliffhanger where punky went back to the orphanage? I cried like a baby! As for MSCL, it is definately my fave show of all time. And yes, I too am a Leslie and I too have EVERY episode on tape!!! I also watched *wonder years *growing pains *who's the boss *cosby show *blossom *charles in charge (anyone out there remember when the show started with scott baio but a whole other family in the same house? then it went off the air for a year and came back with a whole new cast (nicole eggert et al.) ? never did understand how/why that happened.... and a bunch of other silly shows that i appear to have repressed the memory of ever having seen. Leslie |
Does anyone remember that show about highschool kids and they had this history(I think) teacher that they really liked, Does anyone have any clue what I'm talking about??[/B][/QUOTE]

The Disney Afternoon used to be off the hook!! I loved the theme songs...you can't buy that kind of awesome writing anymore http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif (Doesn't it make you mad that some of your favorite shows are popping up on Nick at Nite? It's starting to make me feel old http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif ) D.C. |
KillarneyRose--- yeah, profiler is great, but it comes on at 6:00p.m. here, so im in luck that i dont have to stay up all night to watch it.
aopirose--- Thanks, yeah it was Head of the Class, that was such a cute show. Everyone who mentioned MSCL, my fav quote of all time is off that: "The thing is, people always expect you to be the same way. Like you're a rock, or something. Except even rocks, like--- erode." ---CLaire Danes, MSCL |

Oh, Oh, oh. How can I forget Roar?! This was another one season wonder. It starred Heath Ledger from Mel Gibson's The Patriot. He looked so good in his little kilt.
