I am not checking email right now as I busy, but I know many of you have been in prayer for Soror (DG) and her family. Today the family has officially confirmed that their daughter, sister, aunt, best friend was in fact the woman who was found yesterday.


Thanks to those who sent me the various links via PM. However, as Soror DG was a GC regular (she was here before I joined) and a Soror, it was out of respect that I wait until they confirmed the identity of their loved one. For whatever their reasons were, I had to respect that.

This was no random case, but a case where someone who has been in our midst (for the real old school GCers) was affected. There was NO way that I was going to have this thread go in a direction based on information that was not confirmed/hearsay, etc, even if it came from credible/ reliable sources.

The confirmation is there, now the thread is open again...


Now, Soror DG and her family require continued support and prayers. This is an awful and dreadful situation.

My condolences go out to DG and her family. I'm in tears right now. :(

I have been praying diligently since I heard that she was missing and continue to pray for her family during this difficult time. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. It is morning time for Nailah.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Nailah. I will keep the family in my prayers.

It is so sad that things like this happen in our world, and even crazier that it can and will happen to people that we know or comunicate with. . . I have been on Greekchat for over seven years and I have seen alot of painful sitations come into the lives of posters, and Soror Discogoddess is one of my earliest memories of Greekchat, I am so sorry to come on here and read this her family is in my prayers:(:(

I know God to be a mighty Comforter and I pray that He comfort Nailah's friends and family every day of their lives and that His love and His peace fill the gap in their hearts.
