I hate to say it, but I was so proud of Heidi tonight. I'm so glad she stood up for herself and painted over that hideous mural.

Someday I'd love to hear that they pay Spencer to be such a creep. I swear, he's awful.

I was really happy to see Heidi stand up to Spencer and surprise him!! That was classic. Hopefully he will stop making all the decisions in the relationship and work together with her to make their apartment their's not his!

Because why do that kind of stuff when MTV doesn't have a camera following you?

But i doubt Audrina will leave Lauren...if the previews mean anything, then Justin Bobby does something to Audrina that makes her upset and it seems like she "leaves" him.

The "reality" is that if the show was about Lo and the microscope was always on her, we probably wouldn't like her as much as we do....or we wouldn't be watching because it just wouldn't be that interesting? I love Lo too, but MTV is following the DRAMA of LC and Heidi.

To me, Justin Bobby looks homeless but I can detect the potential hotness if he got rid of his scraggly hair. He's just such an ass though. What was with all the burping during drinks? Have some manners!!

I like how Heidi's co-worker Elodie advised her not to buy a wedding dress anytime soon. And why did Heidi just casually stroll into work without mentioning the engagement? I'm going to be bursting with joy and telling everyone the day I get engaged (I'll probably annoy the hell out of people too). Too bad Elodie didn't comment on the costume-jewelry design of the ring. :p

Next week looks good with Spencer meeting Heidi's parents. Heidi should arrange to have that arcade game removed while they're out of town. Their place looks like a bachelor pad, not a home for a young, engaged couple!

There's a kid who's temping with us and his name's Justin. Me and the other Hills obsessed co-workers have been calling him Justin Bobby since yesterday. Poor thing still doesn't get it.

Was that the one that showed directly after the Hills (where they had Lauren and Audrina on as guests)? I thought that one was freakin hilarious!

That would be the one. I liked how they manipulated the Spencer/Heidi painting the wall discussion so that it was suspense movie-esque.

Before they cut her off, Lauren also talked about how, when Lo dates guys, she doesn't call them by their first name. She'll make up nicknames for them and call them that. Love love love Lo! So glad she transferred to UCLA...more air time on the Hills!

We have a place in Crested Butte that is pretty close to Heidi's. Wierd.

I think eventually Audrina is going to pull the same thing on Lauren (ditch her for a guy). She seems too weak to be able to balance her relationships, so far, and every guy they've shown her with on The Hills has been a loser.

I think Heidi's parents are just as strange as she is. Could her mother be more obvious?: "Heidi could have benefited from having Lauren as a best friend..." I doubt the "benefit" she is referring to has anything to do with actual friendship. :rolleyes: And her dad! My dad would have knocked the crap out of Spencer when he was being so sarcastic at the dinner table! That kid is so fake!

I found it pretty funny how everytime the camera panned to Heidi's parents, their disgust/suspicions of Spencer were written all over their faces. Even though they were polite to him, it was clear they were only tolerating him for Heidi's sake. & yet both Heidi & Spencer seemed oblivious to that.

& I agree with the above posts, Spencer is the definition of fake.

Anybody catch the preview for next week where Heidi claims it was Brody who started the rumors about Lauren? Hmm...I'll be tuning in to see that resolution

Co-sign. I like how Heidi's mom kept bringing up Lauren, it's obvious she thinks Heidi was wrong for ending their friendship. And I thought it was very interesting that we learned that Heidi always dumps her friends when she gets in a serious relationship.

Next week's show looks good, I never even considered Brody as someone who may have started the rumors.

OK, so in the previews for next week when Spencer calls LC his "enemy" -- if I were Heidi, I'd dump him for that. It's one thing not to like someone, but that just goes to show what kind of person he is.

And yes, his brat tantrum (pretending to be LC) at the dinner table antics were appalling. He's such a loser. Heidi could do SO much better.

And Audrina and LC are friends now, so whatever happens with Justin Bobby, it either improves or goes away. :)

All I can say is I'm glad Lauren showed some emotion over not being friends with Heidi anymore. Heidi is so blinded by Spener the fugly to see what she's doing to herself.

I got the impression that the emotion that Lauren showed was helped by the amount of alcohol she had to drink that day. One of those drunk talks...She is better off without Heidi and Spencer.

Ick. Audrina and Justin Bobby are still an item. I was hoping this would go away, but I guess not yet. They're still filming the season though and they're just over a month behind in real life (from what we're seeing that is), so I guess it makes sense they're still together, but still. At least he's better than Spencer Bratt, I mean Pratt.
