I definitely like Heather better after this week. And I want to drink with her parents!! Whichever one of them wins, it's all good in my book.

Lacey's dad is as delusional about what she's like as Lacey is about herself. This apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree.

He was an absolute ass. Who the hell does he think he is when he looks down on Bret and Heather and asks who on earth would eat at a restaurant that has a mechanical bull in the middle. The guys a jerk-off.

Never was a fan of Heather's before, but she was awesome the way she bitched Lacey out. I still hope she wins, only because I think Jes is too good for him.

Jes!! LOL -- I'm so glad there's a thread on this! SO my guilty pleasure! And I think the "two girlfriends" question was a test -- that Heather failed. I think Jes' answer is what convinced him she was the right one. And Heather's behavior in the car leaving definitely confirmed it! Agh! I thought she was pretty cool throughout, but sheesh, what a nightmare as she left.

And yes, I am very much looking forward to the reunion show next week, I wonder if they'll really end up being together, every other one of these "couples" have crashed and burned after the show. But it's oh, so fun to watch! I was never a Poison fan, but I was actually really impressed with Bret Michaels, he's an impressively intelligent, down to earth guy. (and I felt so bad for him when his diabetes was making him feel sick and Heather just wanted to keep driving the sand buggy -- nice!)

Well do you blame her? I mean she poured her heart out to him, got HIS NAME tattooed on her body, and then he didn't choose her. I expected that reaction from her, and i'm actually surprised that she didn't go overboard. lol.

I missed the first 4-5 episodes to this show because I thought it was going to be just like Flavor of Love and I was SO over that. I'm glad this one ended up being better. Still totally a trashy, guilty pleasure, but better nonetheless. :D

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Heather just wanted him any way that she could get him. Jes wanted him and only him. I didn't want him to pick Jes before, because I thought she was too good and that he and Heather were a better fit. After their last date, you could see how much Jes cared for him and that they were a good match.

I knew as soon as Heather blew off his not feeling good because of his diabetes that he wasn't going to pick her. I really do hope that he and Jes are still together.

The reunion show is going to be awesome, pile on 666 :)

There's gotta be something on the internet about them still being/not being together still. As for the test - I called it before he even admitted it was a test - and I also knew he wouldn't pick Heather after the doon buggy ride when she totally didn't even notice him feeling like crap. Me and my boyf watch it late at night in bed before we fall asleep and we were rotting for Jess from the beginning. No fakeness with that girl at all so I really liked her. And I've never been a Poison fan but I'm now a Bret Michaels fan - he seems very genuine and intelligent and his commentary on the girls was so dead-on! Loved it! I've watched a lot of matchmaking reality shows and this was actually the first time it seemed to me that feelings on both sides were genuine.

We know Heather's been living in LA and she was on an episode of The Surreal Life with Vanilla Ice. I wouldn't be surprised if she was just on The Rock of Love to get famous.

Jes totally seems like she's a good person, and you could definitely see that in her mom and dad as well.

WOW I just watched the marathon and I'm so glad Jes won! I really thought it would be Heather since they seemed to click, but Jes was the best choice for something long-term. It cracks me up that Bret was still hanging onto the "heart broken by an exotic dancer" thing!

And I know it's TV, but with one girl then another girl the next night?? I DON'T THINK SO!! :cool:

I found this on accident... I hit the "Blog" button on myspace, and it was the first one on there.

That was a lot of the girls' concern. Brandi had mentioned it to Bret...so I wouldn't doubt it.

There were a few rumblings around webworld that the entire show was a hoax. I read that he was happily married to the mother of his two daughters (Kristi Lynn something or other) and living in Arizona. I read a few things that the show was to revamp his career and promote an album coming out in a couple weeks. It's interesting to think about though!

I can't remember where I read it (it was either Wikipedia or imdb.com) that Bret's still married to Kristi Lynn Gibson. The article did say (even before the show started) that he and Kristi Lynn were separated. It's likely the contestants were all aware of that as well.

I don't what kind of wife would let her husband live in a house of whore-like women just to re-vamp his career if they were really happily married. I just don't buy it.

She looks way better on her myspace than she did on the show. :p

I'm sad that she's friends with Lacey again. Lacey was just too crazy/weird.

He was here for a New Year's Eve concert last year (05-06) and I heard a couple of stories about him hooking up with girls.

If they really were hoaxing, I think it would have been more obviously scripted (like the Scott Baio show, which I think was a complete fabrication).

Yeah, I read it too. But the real question is -- is that the truth or is that just what she's saying now? I mean she's working on a few "projects" and probably wants to be liked so that people take interest in her... I'm not saying she IS lying, I'm just saying, it's totally possible.

I dunno, she sounded pretty upset by the whole thing and it's completely possible and probable that they edited things to make it look a certain way but there's always that chance I suppose...

News radio reported that Jess & Brett didn't make it very long. She flew back to Chicago, hooked up with some fashion designer and called up Brett to tell him she was no longer interested in pursuing anything with him :eek:


And I don't feel bad for Heather after reading her blog. She knew she was getting on a reality show... if she didn't want the chance for the network to make her "look bad" she wouldn't have gone on. That's what TV does. So even if it really was editing, they did a damn good job!

Has the world not learned anything from MTV's Sorority Life? :p

If you watch the video from texas*princess' link, the girls say they don't even know who the "bachelor" is until after they are casted. So of course they are ALL there for the exposure.

Wow I didn't even see that. Yea, they both said they were trying out for the exposure or the publicity that comes after the show was over.
