Now if you are talking about K-Mart then I would agree that the clientele can be rather unkempt. |

There are some raunchy Rainbow and Cub Foods stores, too, depending on location. But the Cub Foods in Knollwood Mall is quite nice. Otherwise, I grocery shop at Byerly's or Kowalskis. |

cheerfulgreek - what sorority are you a member of?
|
Is Cheerfulgreek even a real user ? Isn't it really Christiangirl's sock puppet for when she's being particularly unchristian? (Or was this issue resolved in a previous thread?)

LOL @ KSig RC for his picture. Thanks for making my day!

cheerfulgreek should hit up the downtown Tar-jay, people are generally in suits or biz caz there AND it has the cart escalator. What more could you want? |
Blank stare at this whole entire thread.
ladygreek told me to take a look at it. I'm here and all I have to say is damn! LMAO. This is a mess. |

Oh, it's not that she's uncool. If she had a different name, I probably wouldn't have thought anything about it, but if you go with Christian in your name, I expect a constant message of love, charity, and forgiveness.
(I think the only threads I really remember her from are one in which one, either Christiangirl or Cheerfulgreek, was complaining that everyone thought they were the same, and the other one was the one where she wanted her actual degree at graduation and was mad about someone goofing it up. Nothing really bad in either. ) |

I wonder which one was complaining? Which thread was that one? See, I've only seen positive posts from christiangirl. No ones perfect though. We all fall short sometimes. |

From cashier to customer ~ People, please have your form of payment ready when you hit the register! Write out your check, take out your card, pull out your money or w/e. Life is easier. ~ Please don't stan there annd watch me bag if there is no bagger present ~ Stop your kid from stealing candy and running around the store ~ Yes I do have to scan a certain number of items per minute or I will get fired ~ Even though I ask, bagging plastic is easier than paper On Walmart ~ Cheerful, maybe it was the specific one you went to. I live near 3 Walmarts. At any given time at Walmart A you can see women in sweat pants, wife beaters, with their hair tied up. It's pretty hood/ghetto up in that spot. I try to stay away out of that one especially on the 1st and 15th. However at Walmart B it's pretty classy. It's mostly casually or well dressed people. Walmart C is a good mix of A and B. I didn't even know it was there for a while. |
I do most my shopping at 24 hour grocery stores to avoid a lot of the problems that people have posted in this thread.
|
Looks like everything has calmed down on this thread.:)
I don't like seeing people I know that I don't want to be bothered with at the grocery store. That's what I don't like. |

Rethinking your relationship with her? Is she this dumb in person? |

This thread is so much fun. I don't even know where to start.
First, to whomever was banned from WM for stealing a WWJD bracelet; I bet you're reminded of your indiscretions whenever you don said bracelet. Plus, I suppose the WM management in that town decided that being banned from WM isn't any worse than being sent to hell. And anyone who would steal a WWJD bracelet is obviously going to be a little warm in the afterlife, so might as well make it official. Second, the pics are great. Love 'em all! Third, christiangirl, please stop making EVERY thread about you. You're not the center of GC. You're in Fargo, for crying out loud. Lastly, I hate it when people park their cart in the middle of the aisle, and study the shelves looking for that one item... holding up traffic in both directions. I wish grocery stores had express aisles in addition to the express check-out lanes. That is all. For now, anyway. |

As for grocery stores....I hate when people are in front of me in the self checkout and they don't know how to work it. Or when I'M using it and it flashes the "Wait for assistance" message and NOBODY comes. Not only does it hold me up, but it plays with my abadonment issues. ;) ETA: Umm...while I'm on the subject of stereotypes, I'd just like to point out that I shop at Wal-Mart. For heaven's sake, I just bought "The Fighting Temptations" for $4.88. Don't fight the roll-back. |

Overland Park...where that korean teenager stabbed her mother to death right? Esmie? Cheerful-I'm actually offended by your comments about guys who like women's underwear. It may seem weird but there's nothing wrong with it. I have a good friend who does it because he simply finds them more comfortable. He's also a second degree black belt in taekwondo, in the military and one of the most loyal, honest people I know. Everyone has their quirks and that particular one doesn't harm anyone. Vet school huh? The one thing I have heard is that it will put you in as much debt as medical school but it will take a vet their entire lifetime to repay it because you make about $30-40k a year tops. |
