I've been wearing Clinique Happy for quite a while now, I always get compliments on it especially from guys, but I may start wearing Chanel No. 5 to change it up. It's my mom's favorite because my grandmother used to wear it all the time so it reminds her of her.

AOII_LB93 09-30-2003 12:27 AM

My one and only since 1997 is Champs Elysees by Guerlain, ever since I studied in France it makes me think of France. =)

On the man: Zhivago (looks like goldschlager in the bottle) and Fahrenheit.

absolutuscchick 09-30-2003 12:27 AM

Wow, it's funny how your tastes change!! The Green Tea is long gone (although I still like it) and I'm completely burnt out on Cotton Blossom. I want to get Intuition once I use some of my other stuff up.

ztabchbum 09-30-2003 11:35 AM

tunatartare 09-30-2003 04:18 PM

Girl: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Abercrombie & Fitch 8, Versace Yellow Jeans
Guy: Cool Water, Pi by Givenchy, Aqua di Gio
One night, some of the Phi Kaps decided to take revenge on me, so when I was hanging out with them, they sprayed me with Pi cologne, aftershave, and AXE deodorant body spray. I have to say that AXE is quite possibly one of the nastiest things I've ever smelled and I can't picture a guy picking a girl up wearing that. Bu the Pi stuff was really good.

Designergal3 09-30-2003 04:22 PM

For her:
Love by Bath & Body Works(discontinued forever ago)
Warm Vanilla Sugar
Victoria's Secret Very Sexy for Her
VS Halo
VS Pink
VS Sweet temptation splash- after workouts & the stuff.

For guys...
VS Very Sexy for him
Whatever it is when the cologne is soo subtle but they smell good enough to devour....

Shine 09-30-2003 04:34 PM

I wear Lolita Lempicka, but have bottles of Tommy Girl, BGBGirls Sexy, Hugo Boss Woman, and Ocean Dream. I almost never wear them though. Lolita is my signature scent.

absolutuscchick 10-28-2003 03:31 PM

I just smelled JLos Still and I love it!!!

CatStarESP4 10-28-2003 03:45 PM

I like Ananya from The Body Shop and Pure Fume Spirit #6 from Aveda. I tried Pink Pepper, also from The Body Shop. I loved it, but it was a tinge strong for me.

btb87 10-28-2003 04:18 PM

Wow!

I'm currently wearing "Mademoiselle" by Chanel and "Happy". I also like "Happy Heart". I was in love with "First" by Van Cleef (sp) and Arpels, although I haven't worn it in years. Let a friend smell it once in a store and she thought it smelled cheap!

I absolutely, positively love "Fahrenheit" on my hubby - yummy!

Buttonz 10-28-2003 05:10 PM

I like Ralph, SUnflowers, Happy & Happy Heart, & Escada's Sexy Graffiti. I picked this one up to look at the bottle and just fell in love with it it smells soooo good. B&BW's Cumber Melon, Pearberry, Pink Grapefruit, Mango Mandarin, & Tropical Tropics.
Can you tell that I'm a B&BW's fan?
:D

lil_princess05 10-28-2003 05:12 PM

krazy 10-31-2003 03:20 PM

Are you joking?!

krazy 10-31-2003 03:40 PM

I mean, I know why you wear it, but I think that it smells bad. I don't like a girl to smell bad. I hate it when I am about to go out, and I pass a group of girls, and they smell the whole street up. It is gross. It smells like ass. I am serious. One time, a girl in a class of mine smelled good, and I said, "hey, you smell good." It turns out she didn't like to wear regular perfume, but she went to this little shop where they sold weird perfumes, like lime, grass, and fire. She wore cinnamon, and it smelled really good.

Steeltrap 10-31-2003 03:47 PM

I have too many perfumes

Right now. That's the beauty of being single, don't have to wear one scent to please one manperson.:p

I've got Bulgari White Tea, Michael by Michael Kors, and Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Flora Nerolia in heavy rotation. I'm looking to buy the Stella, and want Bulgari Omnia once it gets to my "gray market" fragrance suppliers.

AlphaGam1019 10-31-2003 03:48 PM

heh, weird scents....try http://www.demeteronline.com/

I saw a little report on it on my flight back to Atlanta a few weeks ago.

krazy 10-31-2003 04:06 PM

That is the stuff. If you wear that stuff, you will attract guys. I saw figleaf on there, does that mean you smell like old underwear? I wonder if they sell "Grilled Steak", that would attract a lot of guys.

Hey Steeltrap, you wear perfume for yourself? I hope so, cause I sure as heck don't like it.

breathesgelatin 11-10-2003 06:38 PM

I wear Oscar by Oscar de la Renta and nothing else. It's so not trendy and it's perhaps an older woman's scent, but I love it so much! It's so, so, so, so classic.

As far as the boy goes I let him do his own thing. I might get into that later.

In general, I can't stand overmarketed scents.

One of the girls I work with wears Tomato. It smells fabulous on her. It doesn't smell like spaghetti sauce, but like a tomato fresh from the garden which is a smell many of us don't get to experience anymore.

I've heard varying reviews on the Demeter fragrances' staying power though - some say they last forever, some say they don't last at all.

Cardinal026 11-12-2003 05:02 PM

I've been wearing Ralph Lauren Romance for a few years now, and I love having my own 'Signature Scent,' lol. Sadly, my boyfriend hates wearing cologne; I've bought him dozens of bottles to no avail. He sticks to his unscented deoderant and boring Shampoo. So unfortunate, I LOVE men's cologne.

XOAlumXO 11-12-2003 05:10 PM

My signature scent for MANY years was Lancome, "Miracle." Love it.
Right now, I am using Fendi.
I am planning on buying, Pink Sugar this Friday. I went to Nordstroms and received a free sample and I LOVE it. Very Yummy!

Add me to that list!

I just think the people going ga-ga over Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie just don't have any imagination. There is more to perfume shopping than Filenes/Dillards/Abercrombie.

PhiPsiDCAlpha 11-12-2003 07:09 PM

Ricci Club

ZTAngel 11-12-2003 07:13 PM

For women: Gucci Rush (my absolute favorite!), Cool Water
For men: Ralph Lauren Purple, Polo Blue

ztawinthropgirl 11-12-2003 07:44 PM

My favorite perfume for women is Obsession by Calvin Klein. I am not a big fan of aftershave and cologne on guys. Most colognes are so strong that even if men put on just a little it smells as if they took a bath in it.

PhiPsiDCAlpha 11-12-2003 07:52 PM

My girlfriend wears Dolce & Gabbana and it literally makes me feel not only dizzy but also I totally swoon. She hid the brand from me but I found it and as I saw that she was almost out, I prepared to buy her more, but I didn't need to because her sister hates it and gave it to her!
