She seems to have a problem with that.

I find it interesting that the only "attack" you could make was that I was a new pledge--which is true. So what? I've been on GC for over a year....well before I pledged any sorority, so if I felt like I needed to fit in, wouldn't I have tried to do it sooner?

Wow, I didn't even know that I had entered a popularity contest. Dang, now i have to put up posters and everything!! VOTE 4 EPCHICK!!!

because its too much of a BURDEN to do that. I also find it interesting that she blames AlphaFrog for "derailing" the thread when all she said was that it was creepy--WHICH IT IS.

EXCUSE ME??? How DARE you pimp out my cousin Hickey to other people? Especially someone like Alfa frog who is the chief train wrecker here on GC?

My cousin Hickey is a very eligible bachelor. Right now he has texas*princess, epchick, and Sister Havana to think about. They are all working on submitting their best photos for review. Now if you would like to submit your OWN photo for review, then please feel free to do so. But do NOT try to set him up with other people.

The whole post from you is a personal attack, and I am reporting you. And now I'm off to flip through the albums of years gone by & look at all the little kids that I have pictures of -- labeled of course, with the date, the year, and the year that they come of age... and how dare any of you call that creepy -- I'm just a kindly old soul who lives down the street & wants to take pictures of children. Why on earth would anyone think that is wrong? I mean its not like sexual predators can be people you KNOW -- that is crazy talk. They are always strangers who try to lure you into a car with candy or a puppy, right?

Here's a creep-tastic article that seems to fit the topic:

http://www.gazetteextra.com/rieben102606.asp

Back on to the subject of candy -- I just spent an hour separating all the candy my son has gotten thus far (festivals, Disney, school) and putting all the yucky stuff into the treat bowl for the kids. I have goodie bags for the two neighbors kids that we are good friends with - everyone else gets the suckers, bottle caps, and pixie sticks. LOL :D We are leaving at 6pm for a festival, so if they aren't here before that, oh well!

*I really only like chocolate, so ANYTHING fruity I gave away. I wanted CHOCOLATE ONLY.

*I also hate hard candy and suckers/lollypops so I gave all that away too.

I always ended up with the least candy out of all my brothers because I gave away anything that wasn't chocolate.

tunatartare 10-31-2006 04:21 PM

Candy corn is the greatest thing ever.

Drolefille 10-31-2006 04:32 PM

I have a love/hate relationship with Candy corn. It's awesome, but every year I eat too much and feel sick. Then I can't eat Candy corn for the rest of the season.

I looked at those real quick as I was skimming through, and I thought they were condoms on a stick.

tunatartare 10-31-2006 05:50 PM

Those lollipops are amazing. I refuse to eat anythign that will make my tongue change color, but I always make an exception for those.

they make your tounge change color?

I just love the flavor. Anything Green Apple flavored is good in my book!

Thank you, RTL. You have in one single post completely reinforced why we only trick-or-treat at the houses of people we KNOW.

I would be arrested if I went to your house. If some freak like you whipped out a camera to take a picture of my kid, I would beat your ass. Then, I would yell to the whole neighborhood that you get your kicks off of photographing young children. Good intentions just don't cut it in today's world.

Jill1228 11-01-2006 12:27 AM

BWA HA HA!

now gotta wipe the green tea off my laptop screen....

If my laptop is fried, I am blaming Tippiechick :D

I love it!! Would this be Trick or Treat regifting? If so, awesome!

AlexMack 11-01-2006 11:31 AM

Question...why do all Bottlecaps taste like root beer? Seriously, root beer is disgusting. Stop making root beer flavoured bottlecaps!

Well, I don't have to be concerned about any "ass kicking" when 100% of the parents say it's ok...including children of police officers that live in our neighborhood, and when I invite the parents in for dessert...the parents love the "break" from walking around the neighborhood and that somene is providing something for them as well.

My neighborhood must be full of alot of weirdos b/c when the parents were here last night, they were all looking through my albums ooooing and ahhhing looking for ideas for costumes for next year and thought it was a great idea.

Tippie, we don't allow trailers here, so you don't have to worry about pulling any rednecked stunts. :)

Ok, seriously? That's getting old. Come up with a new idiotic insult, for Christ's sake. I need something new to laugh at.

valkyrie 11-01-2006 05:33 PM

I really like ReachTheBlueAngel candies. They make you see imaginary cults and conspiracy theories.

Word. If I wanted to talk about conspiracy theories, I'd talk to Richard Belzer. You can come with me if you want.

On the subject of providing for other parents...

My husband's co-worker brings along a cooler on wheels as he walks his kids. He hands out beers to all the dad's in the neighborhood who are either at the house giving out candy or walking their kids through the neighborhood.

My name isn't Mary, I'm not sure where that reference keeps coming from, but if you want to use it, feel free, but it's a stupid name to make up for someone.

That is quite possibly the sweetest thing that I have ever heard of.

I tried some last night at a Halloween party. It was made by Jone's Soda Co. I think it's a limited edition for Halloween, because that's the first time I've ever seen it.

TrueBlueKappa 11-01-2006 07:41 PM

I bought one at Target out of curiousity. NAAAAAAAASTY stuff, let me tell you!

I freaking love Jones Soda and I fully intend on buying the holiday pack this year. And drinking it all. And not puking.

Drolefille 11-01-2006 09:58 PM

Good luck not puking with the novelty pack :D
