What does this mean for the U.S.?
Saddam, half brother sentenced to death
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Saddam Hussein and his half brother were convicted and sentenced Sunday to death by hanging for war crimes in the 1982 killings of 148 people in the town of Dujail, as the visibly shaken former leader shouted "God is great!" After the verdict was read, a trembling Saddam yelled out, "Life for the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!" In addition to the former Iraqi dictator and Barzan Ibrahim, his half brother, the Iraqi High Tribunal convicted and sentenced Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the head of Iraq's former Revolutionary Court, to death by hanging. Iraq's former Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan was convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison. Three other co-defendants were convicted of murder and torture and sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. One defendant was acquitted for lack of evidence. Clashes with police broke out in north Baghdad's heavily Sunni Azamiyah district after the verdict against Saddam was announced. |
Now Doogie Howser....
Actor Neil Patrick Harris says he is gay
LOS ANGELES - Neil Patrick Harris is gay and wants to quell any rumors to the contrary. "(I) am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest," Harris tells People magazine's Web site. The 33-year-old actor said he was motivated to disclose his sexuality because of recent "speculation and interest in my private life and relationships." Harris stars on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother." He started on TV as a teen, playing the namesake doctor on the series "Doogie Howser, M.D." |
Yeah I kinda thought he was after I saw that Harold and Kumar movie. Can't say I am surprised with Doogie.

Actually she and some of her Scientology folks went to a bible study at an AME church and started a rukus. To each his or her own when it comes to religion, but I have a real problem when people take their beliefs to other churches or other beliefs and act a fool if it's something that they don't believe in |
I'm so sick of hearing about Kanye's outbursts and tantrums. Man up, Kanye...you're not hot to death to everybody!

About Chris Rock, isnt this like the second time they've filed for divorce? |
Am I the only one who didn't know Kobe had kids?
www.ybf.blogspot.com Celebs were everywhere this weekend. Vanessa Bryant and the kiddies hit up the Staples center to see Daddy Kobe ball on the court: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5...00/game.11.jpghttp://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5...00/game5.2.jpghttp://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5...00/game3.4.jpg http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5...00/game4.0.jpg I'm just never impressed with Vanessa's shoe game. They always seem out of place. She has too much money not to know she needs to dress for the season, not just the weather. |
I've known kerry washington since I was a kid. Granted, I haven't spoken to her in YEARS, but I just can't see her doing that. People change, but not THAT much. She is awesome, and her Mama taught her better than that.

And yeah, I agree her shoes are horrible, but what can one expect when you yank some chick up out of some randomm high school in some wretched part of Orange County? In her defense, however, I will say that it was like a million degrees today and so seasons schmeasons...no one in Los Angeles really adheres to those rules, although I assume you don't mean she necessarily had to have on boots and all. On another note, her facework is nice though. She has a good plastic surgeon to say the least. Can someone describe to me what's in little Natalia's hair? Are those extensions? I mean, I assume she has some pretty straight hair, but WTF is going on with the braided pony-tail thing. Lawd! |
Britney Spears files for Divorce
Found this on www.mtv.com. This is all they had. Wonder if it's true....
MTV News has confirmed that Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Federline. She has also petitioned for full custody of their two children. Check back at MTV News for further developments. ETA: www.cnn.com CNN) -- It's over for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. CNN has confirmed that the pop singer, known for hits such as "Oops ... I Did It Again" and "Toxic," is divorcing her husband of two years and one month. Spears and Federline, one of the singer's former backup dancers, married October 6, 2004, according to the divorce papers. TMZ.com reports that Spears filed legal papers Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." Spears is asking for legal and physical custody of their two children, 1-year-old Sean Preston and 2-month-old Jayden James. The date of separation was listed as Monday. Spears, 24, married Federline after a six-month courtship in 2004. In January 2004, she had married childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas, Nevada. That marriage was annulled after 55 hours. Federline, 28, previously had a relationship with actress Shar Jackson. The union produced two children, one of whom was born two months before he married Spears. Federline recently released a rap album, "Playing with Fire." The Spears-Federline marriage has been chronicled in detail in celebrity magazines since the pair tied the knot, with rumors of problems surfacing often. |
^^^It has to be hell being married to Baby Vanilla Ice
|
Yeah lol...
And I swear I was just saying the other day how I never see them together. Everytime I see him on tv or something it's by himself :( Guess she was taking care of the chirrun, like she should be. |
This news does not surprise me.
|
I am really surprised that the marriage has lasted this long. Brit is a day younger than me and she's had two kids, an annulment and now a divorce. Her life is coming together so well.
|
Not surprised....

This message is for Brit and Whitney... ABOUT D*MN TIME!!!! |
I knew it was headed for ruin when the show Britney and Kevin premiered! I think that entertainers just do things not thinking of the consequences. Good think she got that prenup!!! How many kids is that for Kevy Kev?
|
Unfortunately, another split
Per Jawn Murray on TJMS, Regina King and her hubby are going through a divorce. She sights extramarital affair(s), drug abuse, and physical abuse.

SHUT UP. Already? |
Someone just told me they heard it on the radio. Waiting to hear if its a rumor or not. If it's true, that's saaad, lavish wedding for nothing.
|
did the wedding already EVEN take place?
|
Yeah! The wedding was featured on a tv show on the WE channel over the summer. I think it was called premier weddings or lavish weddings. There were also pics in some magazines.
I'm surprised that Brit and Kevin lasted this long. He was on the Tyra show recently talking about marriage and the album. I totally think that he just needed someone to help him get his rap career started. |
Actually Lisa Raye's wedding was on Oxygen on a show called Mr. Fablous (I know all those women's networks are alike). ;) But is it true: ALREADY????
Back to Brit and K-Fed. I was thinking this morning and how many of ya'll want to bet: 1. He got someone else pregnant. 2. Shar is going to run back to him like a fool. 3. Brit's going to come back better than ever. I'm glad her mama made her get that nice pre-nup (because they said she didn't want one) and got two babies out of it. |
Your album BOMBS and your wife is divorcing you. Kevin Federline you are having the WORST WEEK EVER.
|
I heard Flo Anthony say on a radio show yesterday that a stewardess is expecting a baby by Lisa Raye’s husband.

Wow, I hope that's not true.

I shouldn't be shocked though. I remember hearing that her hubby was a 'serial engager', but he typically never went through with the weddings. It was said that she made it clear to him that she wasn't going for that. However, it just never feels right when you have to give any sort of nudge towards the altar. |

Things are HEATING UP!!
Rumsfeld quitting as defense secretary
