Quota at Clemson was 43 and Delta Zeta has 46 new members.

Quota at Arkansas State was 28 and Delta Zeta has 32 new members.

Eastern Kentucky University===quota was 14, Kappa Alpha Theta took 14.

Supposedly Delta Zeta has taken 19.

Other chapters: Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Delta Pi, Pi Beta Phi, and Chi Omega I have not been told about yet.

Other chapters are COR bidding like crazy right now as well as some high drama in Panhellenic and apparently quite a few people who do not know how the bid matching process works (ie--if you list boht chapters you preference you are not guaranteed to get your #1 choice etc.

I'll inform as I find out more.

I THINK quota is whatever number will bring them to campus total.

Pi Chis/RoChis/etc need to be trained very well to explain this info to the PNMs. We had one year where a LOT of girls SIP'd and it hurt everyone.

Turns out few of the PC's explained how the process worked to them.

There is a Gamma Chi/Rho Chi/whatever that is in my nursing class. I plan to talk to her on Tuesday after our exam to find out more info. I know UF's quota was 51 which pretty low for them....I am still trying to find out who did and did not make quota.

Yes, Mansfield in PA. The chapter president gave me the numbers and recruitment was the 28-31 of August.

That is really, really, REALLY weird. If you knew the state schools you'd understand. Incidentally, quota being 5 there means there were 20 girls rushing.

How is it possible for a sorority not to make quota when there is only two groups....does it mean that in FCGU's situation that 7 girls received bids to DDD and declined?

I would guess yes.

Number of groups on a campus has nothing to do with making quota.

It could mean any one of a number of things:

TriDelta underinvited, and therefore had a smaller bid list
Bids were declined (your theory)
Not all women attending preference signed bid cards

Just because there are only 2 groups on campus doesn't mean they will both make quota.

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Update:

I finally was able to get with the Gamma Chi that is in my class regarding recruitment.

She said all chapters with the exception of Pi Beta Phi made or exceeded quota of 14 (Theta, Chi-O, AGD,KD, AOII, ADPi, DZ). Pi Phi got 9.
