Not sure, because even during the lean years of the Yankees from 89-94, tickets were nearly impossible to get for Sox games. That includes the Stump Merrill and Bucky Dent years.

- Not to be too cocky, but if it has to do with Yankees history, if I haven't heard about it, it probably didn't happen.

As an African American I don't find it strange that most white people have hard times showing empathy for black people and our subhuman (slavery)experiences
while I cant speak for all white people...I can tell you the reason I have a hard time feeling empathy for black people and "your" subhuman experiences...is that YOU did not experience them. I have never met one person who was ever a slave...so Im sorry if I dont feel bad for you going through something that you never experienced. I do feel bad for the slaves, but last time I checked they had died, just like the slave owners and everyone who ever fought under the Confederate flag.

As far as SC State vs. USC, the SC State fans couldn't buy tickets from USC? I only see this being a problem if and only if the SC stadium sells out for every single game. Race finds its way into some crazy things, but I doubt this is one of them. If any small school in SC were to play USC, I wouldn't be surprised if they got the same # of seats.
The only time USC sells tickets to the general public is when it has tickets left over. Williams-Brice Stadium holds roughly 80,250, for every game approximately 10,000 seats are set aside for the students. X amount of seats are set aside for the visiting teams, varies by team, Clemson gets the most at 10,000 I believe followed by SEC teams such as UF, UT, UGA who all get at least 8,000 I believe, other SEC teams get less and the smaller out of state schools get a small amount...USC's policy has been to give 2,500 to all Div 1AA schools from SC, which is the amount SC State is going to recieve. Every other seat in the stadium goes to Gamecock Club (USC's athletic booster club) members...and every year Gamecock club contributors have their ticket application request denied. The only time non-Gamecock club members can purchase tickets (unless they buy them through the visiting school) is when the visiting schools do not sell their complete allotment of tickets or the rare occasion that the students do not take all of their tickets.
