Oh and still off topic. Saturday was my last day at work. I had less than an hour and a half left in my shift. All of a sudden I hear this crashing noise in my store. A display has fallen off a shelf and hit a customer in the head! I don't mean knick her or graze her, it plunked her square in the middle of her head!!! The amount of paperwork and phone calls we have to make when a customer gets injuried is obscene (necesary, but still obscene). So even though I no longer work for this company they may still need me over the next couple weeks in case this woman has serious injuries (she refused medical treatment that night) or sues. All i want to do is get away from all the crap at this place. Now I still need to be available for a possible lawsuit! Only me!

Oh and to answer the question what to do with olives? We will grow them for our martinis!!!

When I worked at Target several years ago, a customer had a box hit her baby slightly. The baby cried- no harm done. But then the baby was crying at home- and she called us blaming the box hitting him for it. But I just filled out some form- and after that day we heard nothing else about this.

When I worked in the Wal*Mart snack bar during college, a little girl sat down at a booth, but she picked the handicapped spot, so there wasn't actually a seat--just a table. Know what I mean? Anyway, she plopped on the ground, rubbed her little bottom, and that was that. Well, later that night, the girl complained that she was sore, so her mom took her to the ER. The girl's tailbone was bruised (makes sense), and the mom threatened to sue Wal*Mart!! We had to fill out a ton of paperwork, and our manager had to give her testimony (in the store, not court). I don't know what came of it, but for goodness sake, the handicapped spot was clearly marked. How could Wal*Mart be responsible for a little child trying to sit where there isn't a seat?!:confused:

Well, I think you finally have your answer about how people pee on the walls at the movie theatre.

Pee on the walls?!?! I used to be an assistant managerat one of the theatres (including 2 of the drive ins) and we never had anyone pee on the walls. We DID however have someone poop (yes, poop) right outside the projection booth at one of the drive-ins. No way was I cleaning that up. Anywho..haha..ecupidelta, any concrete news? I need something happy..I'm all alone as the rest of my family left for vacation in Virginia while I get to cat sit and dog sit for someother people..boo hiss:mad:

I think all of us have had a job where we get ot see the glory of the public on full display!!! It makes you wonder if people live in barns or something.....
Anywho, I do hope the woman is ok. Companies do have to be hypervigilant nowdays though. In all my years in retail I have found that people do in fact pee on walls and just about everywhere else they can. We tried to get a shoplifter one time who was in the fitting room popping off the sensor tags. My manager knocked on the door to ask the guy how things were fitting and did her need any help ;) She told him she would wait right by the door should he need anything... well once he realized he wasn't getting out with the clothes rather than leave them and just walk away he opted to pee all over them and the carpet in our fitting room :eek: Now that's foul! I'm pretty sure we have all lived in a dorm as well, I have some stories that could just turn your stomach from what I saw as an RA...

And no concrete news...... but that's ok :)

I lived in the Greek dorm.
What is it about boys, and fraternity boys in particular, that makes them want to draw penises on the wall? (Penii!)

Where I went, the dorms had frat rooms, since not even Greek Halls are officially allowed on campus anymore (It is an all local social greek campus, they were allowed letters on the dorm walls, but residence life made them take it down b/c of presenting a "bad" image to new freshman. I don't get it either..) and where their rooms were, they were in the basement of the dorms. So instead of peeing after drinking in a bathroom (on the first floor), they would go pee in the washers which were also in the basement. Glad I did not live in that dorm!!

Someone did one worse at a freshman dorm.. yeah you guessed it. Number 2 in a washer... EW

I just think it's funny. But I'm glad I didn't live in the dorms where some of you lived in. Worse thing that happened to me was that someone left a teabag in one of the washing machines which, of course, turned out to be the one that I did my whites in.

And in my experience.... the girl dorms were actually grosser than the boys! I won't divulge any of the nasty details but I used to wish I was one the boys floor!!

I sometimes used the bathrooms on the guys' floor because I was seeing an RA on one of the guys' floors. Not sparkling clean, but definitely neater than our bathrooms. Although in all fairness, there were about twice as many girls on my floor as there were guys on his.

Check out all the tabloids (b/c we all know they are 100% accurate ;) ). No one has seen the kid, not even their closest friends. There has been a birth certificate filed, several days later than it should have been and signed by a doctor not present at the "birth".

I have several but the one I can watch over and over is "A Chorus Lie". It's the one with Matt Damon and he and Jack are trying to get into the Manhattan Gay Man's chorus.

The one where they get the piano and Grace makes Will stay up all night memorizing the score to "The Mikado". I love G&S.

Also another good one but not as well known b/c it's from the earlier seasons is "To Serve and disinfect". It's when Grace finds out that Karen was in an adult video! :D

I don't know show titles, but I loved the one where Jack found out he had a son. Speaking of W&G, it's about to come on right now on our lovely AFN station. Woo hoo!

I confess I am a total W&G dork... I have seasons 1-4 on DVD and know most episodes by name :o Although I am going to have to look up what the exact title is for the one where Jack finds out he has a son!

It was called Sons and Lovers, it was a two-parter from Season 3. Thank God for NBC website! :D

My fave W&G episode is the one with the flasbacks to when Will and Grace were dating, and then Will came out. I am also a fan of the one where Grace sings...badly...but I think there were a few of those?

Ok, I've had some good news to share for quite sometime. I know there have been some very "lively" discussions lately about this subforum which is why I have held of posting the conclusion to this thread until after I was initiated. Since I have been intiated now I would love to share the outcome! With that being said......there is clearly a happy ending to this story!! :) For those who do know the ending I know I have asked you to be quiet for a LONG time. I thank you for that. Unless you have told people that you know feel free to play along... no one will know if you're being serious or giving it all away!
