A Duke loss is as good as a UK win. :D

Jill1228 03-24-2006 12:56 AM

Both of them cried...the diabetic child molestor and the homo. The diabetic was a lot more shameful.

I couldnt believe how shameful that was Morrison.

Atleast tortured child gay boy Reddick made it to the sideline and cried.

ShaedyKD 03-24-2006 01:39 AM

He's annoying! Not as annoying as all the UT kids will be at school tomorrow though. Stupid ugly orange cows.

Rudey 03-24-2006 01:41 AM

Well my brackets just took a turn for the worst. Thanks Duke!

I didn't think I could dislike them anymore than I did after the 1990 Elite Eight, but that may have changed.

Me too, but at least they deserved it (unlike Gonzaga, who kind of got worked by officiating) - so you're down one, and a 40% free throw shooter gets the inbounds with like 38 seconds left . . . oops, why foul? Instead, let's let them drive for an easy lay up to end the game . . .

How did the Zags get worked by officiating? I heard them say them and I wanted them to win but I saw it the other way. They called fouls against UCLA over and over but let a lot go for the zags and getting hit by a backboard is not a foul.

KatieKate1244 03-24-2006 12:28 PM

Well, I'm throughly depressed this morning. Both of my brackets are now gone ('Zaga and WVU).

I'm with Rudey here. I've watched the last 5 minutes of that game about 20 times now and I didn't expect my Bruins to win but I also don't think the Zags got worked by officiating.

PS: Morrison was an embarassment to the sport of basketball at the end of the game.

What the hell are you talking about. UCLA got hosed the entire game. Gonzaga blew it and Morrison did was just...ugh.

You mean during the press conference when he gave credit to the Bruins players, saying they were great players and great guys?

I mean, yeah, he cried - but an embarassment to the sport of basketball?

I think Morrison more of an embarassment to mankind than basketball. Perhaps that is what she meant.

You know whats funny. Is that I was watching this game with a friend and we kept on commenting how such a badass Morrison was.

" Look at this kid. He's a fuckin KILLER!"
"STUD!"

Then when he did what he did we both went

" Oh my..."
" What the hell are you doing. Please get up"
" Oh no. There goes the tears. Get up you pussy!"

It was just kind of a shock to me how quickly he collapsed; he just totally lost control of his emotions.

Exactly. I felt like they castrated him on television.

Same here - at least it wasn't earlier in the bracket (not that my bracket is all that great, anyways :p)

Right now I have two of my final four teams in the elite eight, waiting to see if another one makes it, and then we have the bracket lovingly known as WTF?!?!?! :o

I agree, I thought it was UCLA that the short end of the officiating. Gonzaga just plain ol collapsed........

I will say the announcers were disgustingly nauseating in their open support for UCLA. They could have at least tried to conceal it.....

SmartBlondeGPhB 03-24-2006 10:18 PM

I have no monetary part in teh tourney but I SO happy to see Duke lose. :D :D

I love it when someone is always held on this pedestal finally falls. And to a team full of freshmen and sophomores too...

Well, this was a real good game until overtime.:(

ShaedyKD 03-25-2006 10:03 PM

Ha ha, all the stupid UT kids at school are gonna be so sad on Monday.

bruinaphi 03-25-2006 10:42 PM

wooohoooo!!!!! Never thought something so good could come from my Bruins playing so poorly.

Go Bruins! Wish I could go to Indy next weekend.

breathesgelatin 03-26-2006 12:09 AM

Y'all, I am so sick of this crap. I deleted all the sniping that was going on but if it happens again I'm just closing this thread. PLAY NICE.

I love the cock puncher from GMU.

Gay and his Sean Paul lookalike teammate didn't cry at least.

No they didn't - and honestly, that's the only positive I can take away from today.

The sooner Josh Boone leaves for the NBA, the better. I would like Rudy to stay another year (although he won't).

Also, funniest moment of the tourney - listening to the radio broadcast as I was coming back home, the announcer says "Today is Gay's coming out party!"

SSS1365 03-26-2006 10:33 PM

My sister-in-law is a die-hard GMU fan, has been since she went to school there, and she totally tagged my car tonight! It says "Go Mason! Final 4!"

Go Mason Go!

Jill1228 03-27-2006 12:19 AM

Can't believe my old school (Mason) is going to the Final 4!

My brackets are hella shot...got one of the FINAL 4s left!

I gotta see how Mr. 1228 is doing...I am so ready to gloat! (I have been sick of his bragging the first 2 rounds)

ETA: I am finally beating his ass! :D

GMUBunny 03-27-2006 12:48 AM

JIll- I've never been more proud to have gone to a school without a football team. I picked Mason to go all the way simply because I've always known they had a good team, and I'd be rolling in some serious dough if they won. Now I'm glad I tempted fate. I might just beat its ass. I think they can go all the way, seeing as they spanked UConn today. That was a moment I'll never forget.

GO MASON!!!

Seriously!

I went out of my way not to get into a poll this year, and BOY AM I GLAD!!! What a wild run it's been!

Jill, I didn't know you went to GMU! :) One of my mother's cousins was a professor there, Commander McKeever?

No kidding!

I don't ever make predictions on sports.

Even when I was directing live sports and was supposed to have a handle on who was "favored," the only time I ever won a pool was by flipping a coin.

U-C-L-A FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!!

It's wierd because my bracket was UCLA, Duke, UConn and BC....the least likely to get there was the only one that did.
