Who, Brittney? I think she lost hers before I lost mine. :p

AznSAE 10-03-2005 06:25 PM

who here wants to wear britney's bra? common kiddos, its for a good cause.

link

Wear Britney's bra, kick off her flip-flops and cuddle her toy bear — all for charity. Britney Spears is holding a veritable garage sale, auctioning clothing, furniture and jewelry on the eBay auction Web site to raise money for the Mississippi Hurricane Recovery Fund.

LightBulb 10-03-2005 09:16 PM

Nice shirt in that link. *shudder*

Good for her though, raising money for hurricane relief efforts.

While I think it is a great thing she is doing donating to hurricane victims. Are there still Britney fans out there?

kddani 10-04-2005 06:35 AM

After all of her walking around barefoot, who would want to buy her flip flops? Ick.

Is Britney’s husband acting like a baby?

By Jeannette Walls
MSNBC
Updated: 2:23 a.m. ET Oct. 6, 2005
Is there trouble in paradise for Britney Spears and her hubby?

The couple has acknowledged rough patches in the early days of their marriage, and it looks like having a baby hasn’t helped things. The buzz is that Kevin Federline — who walked out on his pregnant girlfriend and child to be with Spears — isn’t taking too well to fatherhood this time around either.

Since Spears brought home little Sean Preston, his dad has been “a real brat” — hitting golf balls, partying and chatting on the phone into until well until the night, an insider tells Life & Style Weekly. Spears has reportedly complained that she’s “raising two kids now.”

After one particularly nasty row, Federline moved into a friend’s house for three days, according to the mag. But Spears’ mom, Lynne, has reportedly come to the rescue and is helping the couple through its tough patch.

Spears’ rep didn’t respond to The Scoop’s request for comment.

Congratulations to Brittney. HOWEVER, I hope she slows down and takes motherhood very seriously - this is not a fly by night situation.

So I don't think driving while holding your baby is the smartest thing...

She looked like a MAN until I clicked on the pic to blow it up...and who is that with her???

I think it's her bodyguard.

ZTABullwinkle 02-07-2006 10:55 AM

I understand the anger about her son on her lap....but WHY HAS NO ONE TALKED ABOUT HER LACK OF A SEAT BELT?????

It is bad enough having her son on her lap, but with no seat belt on her she multiplies the chance of injury to Sean in an accident. Her baby is the only buffer between herself and and the steering wheel.

Last comment: if that is a big old bodyguard, then don't you think he could have helped her get the baby in the car "unharmed" by the paparazzi? Or is he just there for looks?

BetteDavisEyes 02-07-2006 02:16 PM

She's claiming that the paparrazi were being physically aggressive so she didn't have a choice but to drive with him on her lap. This girl so needs a large dose of ass kicking b/c she's proving to be a shitty mother if she does not value her sons safety.

I'm glad you said "dumber" and not "as dumb as"

There's no need to go around insulting perfectly good rocks...:) ;)

Garnered from the TNZ website

TMZ has learned that Deputy Mark Winn, from the LA County Sheriff's Dept., is on his way back (1:30 PM Pacific Time) from Britney Spears' home. We're told the deputy went to the singer's home to ask questions about Britney driving with her baby on her lap without proper child restraint.

TMZ has also learned the LA County Department of Chidren and Family Services (DCFS) has contacted the LA County Sheriff's Department, inquiring about the incident.

TMZ contacted DCFS and an official would not say if the matter was under investigation.

Britney issued a statement saying, "I was terrified that this time the physically aggressive paparazzi would put both me and my baby in danger." She added, "I instinctively took measures to get my baby and me out of harm's way..."

The TV show 'EXTRA' has obtained the following statement from X17, the company that took the picture: "These pictures were taken in a very peaceful context, in which photographers exhibited no aggressive behavior. We believe the pictures speak for themselves."

midwesterngirl 02-07-2006 06:34 PM

It isn't a very clear picture but she doesn't look very terrified to me. She appears to be smiling.

Oh, she's grinning, all right. But maybe that's just her own special way of expressing how terrified she is. Who knows. :p

... or maybe...

... or maybe it was Opposite Day!!! So she was grinning instead of having a terrifed look?

KunjaPrincess 02-07-2006 08:26 PM

Ok so it was in desperation that she drove off with Sean in her lap. Being a mom I can kinda see that. What I don't get is:

1. why she is smiling, if I have to drive with my child on my lap it better be a real emergency and I guarantee you I will not be smiling in this case.

2. If you look at the other pics posted online you will see her body guard has his seatbelt on. If he managed to come out of starbucks, buckle in and be talking on his phone, why didn't he also take Sean away from B.S and rach back and restrain him?

3. Why the state of CA hasn't charged her with child endangerment since this is obviously against the law

4. Why the police haven't cited her for driving with an unsecured minor which is also against the law. Every state has laws regarding child seat use and since Sean is only a few months old he is not going to meet the minimum requirements in any state to be unrestrained.

edited to say: ok, so I read the article now and I guess they (DCFS and the police) are investigating. GOOD.

AlphaFrog 02-08-2006 08:13 AM

What "danger" exactly are then in?? In danger of having their pics taken? I know the paparazzi can be agressive, but would you rather take the chance of having a few unauthorized pics taken (no royalties...the horror!!  ) or getting into an accident, having the air bags deploy and kill your baby??

darling1 02-08-2006 09:03 AM

ugh

she should have been arrested for negligence..but she wont cuz she's a celebrity. if you are so 'fearful' then you should have kept your butt at home and had someone get whatever you went out to get or tint your frickin' windows.

me or any non-celeb would have received a ticket or been arrested.

this is sickening.

There is some danger with some of them.. just look at the Reese Witherspoon mess with her daughters birthday party.

I don't know what happened with RW and her daughter, but I was thinking of Princess Diana and Lindsay Lohan and her recent car accidents.

That happened BECAUSE they were driving. Why couldn't she have locked up the car and either waited it our, or secured her son? Although, I guess that's the real question everyone else has mentioned.

KSig RC 02-08-2006 01:41 PM

You star-mongering whiney women need to calm down and look at this from the correct point of view:

social.

darwinism.

She shouldn't be 'arrested' or anything of the sort - instead, we should let nature take its course.

Yeah, but her baby's life is involved, too. The poor kid didn't pick his parents.

Yo Alphafrog. Princess Diana wasn't driving the car when she died. :(

No, but the car was being driven by someone. If the car hadn't been in motion, they couldn't have gotten in an accident, unless one of the paparazzi hit them parked, and she might not have died in that case.

Plus, Brit was driving, not her son, and no one cares if Brit dies.
