Just wanted to say EB (Univ of KS) pledged 41 new squirrels!
They did great this year--- and are still working hard at COR, they handed out a couple of bids today.

AGDLynn 10-03-2005 10:56 PM

Wow there's good news to report all around MS1 about Formal Recruitment.
Congratulations to Gamma Tau for achieving quota+4, Theta Mu for achieving quota + 2, and Mu for achieving quota +1.:D :D :D

Tau update

Tau is doing well through COR too! According to an e-mail I just received, the New Member class has almost doubled, from 8 to 14!

laureagd 10-13-2005 01:41 AM

Tau has 15 new members currently...six bids were extended last week and they were all accepted.

That doubles our chapter size :D

AGDee 10-15-2005 11:46 PM

That is awesome Lauren! I'm so proud! My goal for them was always 30 members, so they've met that! And, I read the other day that they are finally considering lowering Total to 35, so the chapter could actually make Total in the Spring! Wouldn't that be an amazing feeling?

Dee

laureagd 10-16-2005 12:58 AM

It would be INSANELY amazing. We're only graduating about 5 members this spring, so even if they don't end up being able to lower Total we're still in a great place for next year!

agdbirmingham 10-17-2005 04:24 PM

Wow, sounds like all the chapters did really great! That's such wonderful news!!!

KATY_AGD_UK 11-10-2005 09:07 PM

Katy I am so glad for you. I was there for Alumnae Night and had hoped to help during the week but was unable to this year.

Hope to see you at IRD this year!

rayray 11-13-2005 03:01 AM

Delta Pi Initiated 39 amazing ladies today!!!! It was awesome to look around the room at our chapter and see how much we have grown. Feast Of Roses was beautiful, filled with so much love from friends and family, alum and advisors. I have never felt so proud to be an Alpha Gam!

ZOwinter 12-21-2006 04:06 PM

well we are a really small school up at kettering university and we have gotten 5 back so far and waiting on a few more girls for the spring :D definitly quality over quantity, but we still were the top on campus for bid acceptors this fall!!

Results from University of Idaho

Hi there, long time no "see" for all of you! Things here have been busy to say the least.

I rec'd over MY SPACE from Delta Theta (University of Idaho) the ALPHA GAMS pledged 26(!!) new young ladies! How exciting is that, I guess that is quota plus 2! I am so excited for them, what a great recruitment for them. What a way to start off the eve 50th anniversary of Delta Theta chapter at the University of Idaho.

IHeartUGA 08-16-2007 02:49 PM

Gamma Alpha got 64 new girls! Quota at UGA was 55.

agd4rie 08-16-2007 03:25 PM

uga

Actually, quota was 52. We got 12 Quota additions.

UGAalum94 08-16-2007 05:56 PM

First I want to say that I'm thrilled about the great results, but I'm also curious about the number of QA. When I've read about them here, it's suggested that they are capped in regards to how many a chapter can get. Does that not apply at UGA?

IHeartUGA 08-16-2007 09:48 PM

My bad :)

AGDLynn 08-19-2007 10:43 AM

Epslion Kappa Chapter at Pittsburg State (KS) Recruitment has 25 New members which was quota plus 2 and they are now at 75 which is Chapter Total for Pittsburg State!:D

Sorry to crash, but . . .

A few of the “08/21/07” pics on Pittsburg State’s “Campus Life” site show what looks a lot like a very happy fall 2007 bid day for AGD (yellow tees).

AGDLynn 08-22-2007 06:16 PM

Thanks!!! Cute girls!:D

LaneSig 08-28-2007 05:03 PM

The Epsilon Zeta chapter (Arkansas State University) pledge 40 ladies. Congratulations.

Baldwin Wallace College

I just got an email from the Recruitment chair and Alpha Iota took Quota +1. I'm waiting back to hear what quota was and how the other chapters did.
Great job ladies!

I heard quota at Balwin-Wallace was 22, so that means AI must have taken 23.

When I was there for open house they told me they had over 175 registered for recruitment for 5 chapters. Although, they had a lot of no-shows -- only about 25-30 per party.

Based on registration, they knew quota would be up from last year, which was 16 or 17.

Taualumna 09-27-2007 11:22 AM

Quota at the University of Toronto was 9 (the highest in a while) and AGD got quota + 1!

Congrats to the Toronto Chapter and the new baby squirrels!!!

Taualumna 09-27-2007 11:38 AM

Just a note: The University of Toronto used PSR (Partially Structured Recruitment) method this year over traditional Formal Recruitment. Under FR, quota is generally 6 or 7.

wordtoashleyAGD 09-27-2007 02:38 PM

This is about a month late, but I thought you'd be interested in seeing it. This is my pledge class from the Epsilon chapter at the University of Kentucky:
