My ex-boyfriend was in this episode... CRAZINESS!! I know he's been in other shows and is an actor now, but he was just in my favourite show. What are the odds?

SoCalGirl 11-01-2006 01:45 AM

Was he the creeping pizza guy? :p

jess_pom 11-01-2006 02:37 AM

Does anyone know if the CW posts VM episodes anywhere online? I forgot it was on tonight and don't know where to check for a replay. Thanks!

I've not been able to find them. Youtube eventually gets to them though.

AlexMack 11-21-2006 11:28 PM

You think they could try a little harder with the greek hate. Circle the fat? Give me a break...any speculation on who dies next week? I'm hoping for Logan because I hate him ;)

mu_agd 11-29-2006 09:56 AM

I totally had a feeling a few episodes ago that Moe was somehow involved. But I definitely didn't see the prison experiment playing the role that it did!

I'm guessing the second mystery arc is who killed the Dean.

I'm guessing Professor Landry. He knew the dude enough to not be surprised by the arrival in the office, he'd brought the gun to Landry's room earlier. And Landry read Veronica's paper. Of course, it would be wicked obvious...

Or it could be Lucky Tim who doesn't want to see his one true love, Professor Landry, fired for sleeping with the Dean's wife?

SoCalGirl 11-29-2006 01:12 PM

I'm thinking Patty Hearst because she was furioius that he overturned her "screw them" ruling and let the greeks stay.

I can't wait to see the rest of the season. I am so obsessed with this show it's not even funny. Veronica is my kind of girl...and a really snappy dresser.

SoCalGirl 11-29-2006 06:53 PM

This is the first season that I've actually watched. I caught an episode here and there before. Last night I was way too distracted during the break up scene though. They filmed that scene at UCSD, you can see the library over Veronica's shoulder. Almost every other scene that takes place at "Hearst College" is filmed at SDSU. The architecture is radically different. I can understand not filming every single scene at State. But, at least go to USD where the buildings more or less have the same style. :(

The whole circle the fat thing was awful, but it definitely used to go on on my campus (while I've been here even). I'm not sure if it does anymore because it got so much attention then...

Anyway, I love Logan! I'm so glad it wasn't him!

AlexMack 01-24-2007 09:39 AM

*bump* New epsiode last night.

That was really creepy that Veronica's paper was used to murder Dean O'Dell. Unfortunately there aren't enough suspects introduced to make a case yet.
Monkey was adorable and Mac has a crush...so cute! And yay, Veronica and Logan.
I'm such a fangirl...I downloaded the season 1 soundtrack last night.

mu_agd 01-24-2007 09:55 AM

Marcel the Monkey!

Who played Bronson, or whatever his name was. He looked wicked familiar to me.

bluefish81 01-24-2007 09:14 PM

I love this show, though I missed some episodes at the beginning of this season. I got Season 1 for Christmas and rented season 2 to catch up on the episodes that I missed.

I'm not sure if I prefer him more since I've watched this show since it began and am a huge Logan fan, but yeah -- I totally felt bad for the poor guy. Piz that is.

AlexMack 01-25-2007 12:56 PM

I'd take Duncan on top of either because Logan can be a jackass but it made my heart break to see how miserable they were apart from each other. They're supposed to be together.
Poor Piz...he should date Parker damnit!

Oh, so my super wonderful boyfriend bought me season 1 and 2 on dvd for christmas. I love him :D

AlexMack 01-31-2007 12:23 AM

So...who else thought tonight's episode theme was interesting? HOOKERS PEOPLE! This episode just sucked. It's like the writers are running out of steam or something.

hazelle 01-31-2007 06:16 AM

Yeah but in a way, kinda clever nerd finds love in a hooker?? Never happens in tv....?? But yeah, they have gone to the mountain about two years ago with the crazed dad chasing Veronica ....and now sinking in a huge mud pit....oh, well, there is always Smallville

KDAngel 01-31-2007 06:20 AM

If you've watched the show long enough, you learn everything comes back in solving the "big" cases that take up the whole season. I'm not saying the hooker stuff exactly, but everything always plays a part and happens for a reason.

I actually read a recent interview with Rob Thomas and they said the second arc of the season (Dean O'Dell's murder) won't be as huge as other arcs have been and there will be standalone episodes. It seemed like this will be one of the standalones. I believe part of the reasoning is so Kristen Bell can get some time off and not be filming 24/7.

This was actually part of the arc. The standalone episodes won't be until the final five episodes of the season and they are doing that to see if it can pick up viewers that way in case they decide to renew it for next season.

Oh Madison, was Lamb not doing it for you anymore?

Yep, I read the same thing in a Rob Thomas interview. He is looking into doing stand alone epies due to a mix of things. One of the biggest seems to be getting new viewers, but of course I also heard him say the thing about giving K. Bell more time off. I think he also stated he didn't feel like the whole season arcs were working due to not being about to get the characters emotionally involved as much as they were during season 1 unless he killed off one of Veronica's friends or family every season.

Did anyone else have trouble recognizing Madison when she was at the door? It took me hearing her name to get it.

No, I couldn't figure it out either, I thought she was another hooker! Then I went, 'woah honey, you need to sue your hairdresser, very reminiscent of a feral squirrel glued to the back of your head ala Michelle Duggar'.

I still don't think Max's girlfriend hooker has anything to do with the Dean's murder.

Same here, and I'm a very devoted fan of the show.

AlexMack 02-06-2007 11:58 PM

Ooo...tonight's episode...now they're getting much more controversial. Stalkers, violation of privacy, abortions, RU 486...I loved tonight's episode. I missed some parts though so I'll have to rewatch it on CW's website. Thoughts about O'Dell's murder?

EDIT: http://video.cwtv.com/ for those who missed tonight's episode.

KDAngel 02-07-2007 06:25 AM

I'm not really sure. I'm trying to think things through and make connections but really I have no idea at the moment.

I wonder if there's any significance to O'Dell's oldest brooding son. Did they draw attention to him for nothing? Even though it was brief, a part of me wonders if as in typical VM fashion, it happened for a reason, or if it was merely a part of tonight's episode. But my gut feeling says he plays a part in it all...

I think you're right. O'Dell's last words that we know of were "what are you doing here?", indicating he was surprised to see the murderer. On the other hand, his goth son could just be a red herring. Let's not forget how many people were thought to have caused the bus crash or killed Lily Kane. I think I'll play it safe and say red herring until we have information to prove otherwise.

While a neat show with a cute girl and PCness above and the call, they keep moving this show around to different time slots and against some of the numbers rated shows!

I love the show and the SLs they've had recently.

Still, Veronica manages to piss me off from time to time. I don't know why, but she annoys me.

Screw what the Bible says. She should have crushed GOTZMINE.

What the hell are you talking about? This show has a permanent time slot, great numbers and less skeevy old guys who watch it to perv over 26 year old Kristen Bell.

Remember, Earp doesn't have to actually know anything about the topic to post as an authority on it.

I'm still waiting for him to tell me where all of those St. Louis University fraternity houses are. 3.5 years there and I only ever saw one.

Tuesday night has always been my CW night (even when it was still the WB/UPN).

I can't think of anything else that's on on Tuesdays. Even when American Idol starts up the good stuff I'll still probably be tuned to the CW.

Drolefille 02-08-2007 03:01 PM

House is on Tuesdays! I need a dual tuner DVR so I can keep up sometimes :)

One thing this show does not have is great numbers. It's been on the verge of cancellation for lack of numbers every year.

And the time slot was moved around a few times last year. But it has been steady since the final move.

For anyone who cares to seek out VM spoilers. According to a celebrity spotting tip line that one of the radio stations has, Paul Rudd was spotted filming scenes of VM at Tecolote Canyon. http://www.sandiego.gov/park-and-rec...s/teclte.shtml
