TxAPhi 02-26-2005 11:07 PM

Does Waffle House count? We don't have them in the NE, but they are by far the best. I get my hashbrowns scattered, smothered, covered, and diced. I'm in FL right now on vacation, so Waffle House is on my mind.

Inspired because I'm going to start working out like crazy after this vacation (my mom's stuffed me silly): what is your favorite machine at the gym?

I don't have a favorite machine, but I'd have to say my favorite workout routine is weight training. I love feeling strong and invincible, and girl muscles are sexy. :)

What is your favorite Southern city?

TechAPhi 03-05-2005 07:30 PM

Answer: Atlanta, Georgia, of course. Absolutely gorgeous in the summer and winter. Friendly people. Tons of great restaurants, hangouts, culture, etc. Home of two of America's granddaddies: Coca-Cola and CNN (and I could add Chick-fil-a, which was also founded here). Atlanta is a truly cosmopolitan city, with southern charm. A gem of the south!

I like this question, so I am going to ask it again.

Question: What is your favorite Southern city?

Atlanta, because it's my hometown, and it's the one place that I can think of in the Southeast that to me embodies the dreams of those involved with the Civil Rights struggle. The people are generally warm and friendly, and it's also the home of the Flying Biscuit Cafe, Fat Matt's Rib Shack, and the Heavenly Father Jesus & Our Bakery. :D

A related question: What's your favorite international city?

midwesterngirl 03-07-2005 05:37 PM

Somehow I killed this thread by asking:
what is your best/funniest/wildest bachelorette party memory?

So you can answer that one, or who makes your favorite handbag? (mine is coach :) )

lauralaylin 03-31-2005 01:54 PM

I think it's called Arm Candy. Cora Walker was selling them at regional conference, so I bought one. I couldn't resist. I guess they are made by her friend who lives somewhere out west (CO maybe?). I think she's a Kappa Kappa Gamma too.

Question: Do you care about the British royal family? Why/why not?

APhi Diva 04-08-2005 01:22 PM

Oddly, I do care about the British royal family. My mom was always very interested in them and I guess she passed it on to me! I vividly recall waking up at like 4AM to watch Charles and Diana's wedding with her!

On a related note, if you care about the royal family, what do you think of Charles' upcoming wedding to Camilla?

Jill1228 04-08-2005 01:36 PM

They are consenting adults and folx need to stop tripping. (I am one who woke up to watch the weddings of Charles and Diana and Andrew and Fergie)

ER or Grey's Anatomy?

SATX*APhi 04-08-2005 06:50 PM
