For Southern California's sake, I hope Matt Leinarts career end's up at least like Bernie Kozar's, and not like Ken Dorsey's.
I agree that last year's SC team was better than this years. That's why I don't understand the media doing this now instead of last year, when they knew how great that team was.
To me, the 95 Nebraska team stands out. I really don't like them, and I'm glad Bill Callahan's going to take them out of the National Championship picture for a while, but that team was just awesome. Their offense was one dementional, but averaged 400 running yards a game, and the Blackshirts, well, it's Nebraska. And i don't even remember a game coming even close with them. They were also led by a QB who didn't pan out in the NFL (Tommy Frazier), and we all love Lawrence Phillips' off-the-field (when has he ever been on?) troubles.
I love how the Gameday guys said they'd include this year's Texas team IF they beat USC. But they won't do it now???? |
