I saw last night at a New member meeting that the site for new members is up and working. They have been taking their quizzes online and printing their results. This means their new member meeting can be for getting to know each other, advisors, songs, asking questions and some review. Much better than the old version.

If this part of the site is working it shouldn't be too much longer for the rest of the site. (That may just be my optimistic view of the ADPi universe!)

I don't know what the site is yet or if they will have it opened for all members when the international exam is required before elections.

Anybody here think they could pass the exam with a 90% or above with no studying?

I totally took the quizzes and got a 100%!! I completely checked out and over the new member info since I am the ME Advisor for Gamma Theta and oversee the NMC...I think this new idea for Alpha Education is wonderful! I do not know much about it since it has obviously changed since I left-- so I cannot wait for DLC this spring to learn more for my position!!!!!!!!

Okay here's the skinny....

I spoke to the District 6 Director (who lives in AZ, I saw her tonight at an alum thing, I just don't want to mention her name online, hope y'all understand). Anyways, she was telling me that the server is in Florida and with the amount of hurricanes hitting FL right now they are EXTREMELY behind in getting the website done.

I honestly don't see the website being up and running before the end of the year, like late December, but I'm guessing early January.

Ok....so i guess we all know that the website still isn't updated, but I got my Adelphean yesterday and it shows what the new website will look like!!!!!!!!! Ugh...i'm so impatient!!!

Hunnie still has 2 weeks!! Maybe it will be soon since they are previewing it in the Adelphean and we haven't heard anything lately!!

I'm beginning to think that this update is an ADPi urban legend.

according to the newest adelphean, the new site was launched in early august, and it even shows pictures. interesting...

Maybe they are just referring to the part that the Alpha's have to have access to, to complete their online education?!

That's gotta be it, because I think we have all been checking for this "new website" since August. Oh well. I think the problem is that the Adelphean probably had to go to press wwwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy before the website was actually launched (well actually supposed to be launched). But still the editors shouldn't be saying something that is completely and utterely false.

Ok-- I got my Adelphean yesterday-- and my thought was waaaayyy off! The article makes it seem like we all have full access to it! I bet the phone is ringing off the hook and emails are coming in like crazy at EO due to mass confusion! People probably think they are nuts when they visit the site and realize it doesn't look the way it does in the Adelphean!

I hear ya sista! I received mine the other day, and got real excited, then I realized I check PO earlier that day, and no go on the new website! What a bummer!

I emailed EO last week to inquire about the status of the new site. No surprise ~ I have not heard a word back from them about it!

Does anyone else find it really, how should I put this, pathetic and sad that the website STILL isn't done yet, yet the Adelphean is claiming it is.

I also find it sad that they keep "pushing it back". One minute its February, then May, then July, then late August. Now we don't know but are guessing mid next year.
