I can believe that there are some good men out there! And by the way congrats. Sorhor Bluereign!

I can't believe that it's extremely warm outside today.

I can't believe that I'm a Great Aunt. Her name is Catherine Nicole Jones. She was born on Jan. 7, 2005 she's 6 lbs and 19 inches with a head full of hair! She's also an Airforce brat and both parents are doing well. My neice and her husband are just glad that she's here and safe.

I can't believe that I'm watching cartoons all day long! I'm addicted to cartoons.

I can't believe that at the end of this month the Midwinter Conference for the Northeast Region is at good old George Mason University in Fairfax County, VA. Bluereign, I hope to see you!

TRSimon 01-09-2005 02:56 PM

I can't believe

That Soror BlueReign got one of the good ones.. Yay!!!(wait, she's a SIGMA Woman... I CAN believe that)

That Soror SeriousSigma has a new little great niece... Congratulations!

That Sigma 2K Royalty is having a baby... Congratulations!

That January is already here, and we haven't had any snow :)

Soror BlueReign and Soror SeriousSigma - they were doing the poison sausages in Portland over a year ago. That's a bit extreme behavior for someone who gets mad over stepping in poop... :)

SeriousSigma22 01-10-2005 09:14 PM

Sorhor TRSimons,

I can't believe you girl!

I still can't believe the weather here in Northern Va. What a warm day for Jan?

I can't believe that an employee at a Nursing home in Alexandria, Va stabbed a total of seven people this morning. Four of the people are in their 90s, and the rest are co-workers, however, the blessing is that all of the victims are expected to recover.

What's going on in this crazy world?

I can't believe that I'm still trying to recover from winter break.

Serioussigma22:cool:

rho4life 01-14-2005 02:07 AM

I can't believe how out of control Michael Jackson's life has gotten. Why didn't anyone ever tell him that his behavior wasn't normal?

I can't believe how much I enjoy being single, it has illustrated how strong I am all by myself.:D I've also realized, I'm not all by myself, I have a circle of family, friends and Sorors who love me.

jojapeach 01-14-2005 02:20 AM

I can't believe the warm, fuzzy feelings I get when I'm around Neos who jump right into the work of Sigma.

I can't believe that the Russ Parr Morning Show is funnier than I imagined (although he could cut back on the celebrity imitations).

I can't believe that I finally refocused on my doctor prescribed "eating plan" and a regular exercise routine. (It was a struggle to finally get started on Jan. 12, but it happened.)

I can't believe that the Southeastern Regional Conference in the US Virgin Islands is coming up very soon. (Sorors, be inspired to tighten your bodies up now.)

SeriousSigma22 01-14-2005 08:12 PM

Sorhor Jojopeach,

I can't believe that I'm so jealous about your regional conference location. Have fun.

rho4life 02-01-2005 11:48 AM

I can't believe how cold it was this morning.

I can't believe I'm out of coffee already.

I can't believe how much extra work my bosses think they're entitlted to get from me after my raise, ummm, cliff note - I still own my weekends [Or, sometimes Sigma owns them :)] boys, you're not paying me THAT much!

NinjaPoodle 02-01-2005 02:00 PM

I can't believe my brother is now arriving in Iraq for a year and a half.http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/bawling.gif

We're praying for him. :)

jojapeach 02-10-2005 02:54 AM

Man, I haven't been here in a minute

Soror NP, your brother and family are in my prayers.

I can't believe that I'm a part of such a great sisterhood.

I can't believe I had enough time to reflect on some of the good times that I've had as a soror.

I can't believe that I still get a little giddy from time to time when I remember that I have that title.

I can't believe that I still have the fortune of being in a grad chapter with a great former Grand Basileus, Soror Evelyn Hood. (We always learn so much from her. I hope I can be half the soror she is when I become a Golden Soror.)

SeriousSigma22 02-12-2005 05:09 PM

Wow! Sorhor Jojapeach,

I can believe that you are in a wonderful chapter with a great past Grand Basileus! I know that you ladies are learning a lot and doing extremely well. When I became a Sigma I got to see a lot of Aurora Magazines from her presidency. She did fine job!

I can't believe that the weather is getting warmer again and I'm sitting at my computer answering a bunch of messages from the board.

I can't believe that Spring Break is just around the corner and I hope that it's warm in March.

Serioussigma22:cool:

jojapeach 02-22-2005 02:50 AM

I can't believe I just composed my letter of resignation from what must be the 2nd Gate of Hell.

I can't believe the sheer joy and lightheadiness I feel just to have the copy ready to give to my supervisor tomorrow.

(What's sad?) I can't believe I'd rather give up my full-time position with benefits in exchange for a seasonal position that will last 5-6 months.

But I do believe my sanity and mental well-being are more important than any flim-flam position.

SeriousSigma22 02-23-2005 09:32 PM

Sorhor Jojapeach,

I can believe that you did it! Your health (well being) is way more important than money.

I can't believe that it's about to be spring break and we are once again tracking a snow storm.

I can't believe that I'm still watching my favorite shows that I'm addicted to and I already know the outcome but I'm glued to tv as if the episode is brand new.

I can't believe my brother has called 2x's since being stationed there. He is doing well considering the circumstances.

Thank you to those who said or prayed well wishes for him. Keep praying until he gets home and his service is complete.

Bobbyearl93,

Happy Birthday!

bobbyearl93 03-04-2005 11:16 AM

Thanks, but don't wish me Happy Birthday just yet.
I am still working on some kinda fountain of youth,
so I can turn around and go back to 28.:D

I haven't had much progress, but I will keep you posted.

jojapeach 03-04-2005 12:18 PM

I can't believe I have to rescind my post.

I can't believe I didn't resign from my current job.

I can't believe that the job that I was gonna go to made me realize how gravy my current job is and how much I would miss it despite the madness.

I can't believe I'm staying.

Please believe a sista is applying for a teaching position for the upcoming school year.

I can't believe Jamie Foxx went from "Wanda" to being an "Academy Award winning actor". What a great talent.

I can't believe my 10 year old niece got her nails "did" for her birthday. (Thanks for the acrylic, Mom. )

I can't believe I'm wearing a long, dark, straight wig over my red fro! (It's cute on me, too.)

SeriousSigma22 03-05-2005 09:42 AM

Folks,

I can't believe Sorhor Jojapeach revealed all of that stuff. You go girl and there's nothing wrong with wanting to be an educator.

I can't believe that you didn't include a picture of the wig!

I can't believe I am now 34 years old
I can't believe how fast the past 10 years went by
I can't believe my co-worker is grouchy EVERY DAY!
I can't believe I have never seen this person crack a smile in the 2 years I have been with this company.
I can't believe it is still snowing in the D.C. area in March!

SeriousSigma22 03-08-2005 08:24 PM

Seroiussigma22

I can't believe that everything froze over and it's really windy outside.

I can't believe that I'm still having to deal with a few crazy students and they don't even care that they'll probably repeat the 7th grade.

I can't believe that it's light in the morning before 6:30 a.m. Spring is on it's way.

Serioussigma22;)

I can't believe that Serioussigma and I are in the same area suffering the same cold.

I can't believe that this blasted head cold got me shook!

I can't believe that my prescription is gonna cost $30 in the plan and $60 out of the plan!

I can't believe I paid a $100 to get my taxes done

I can't believe next year I will be paying $150.

I can't believe that I am still at work when I know I should be at home resting...

BlueReign 03-11-2005 12:55 PM

I can't believe how cold it was this week.
I cant believe that yesterday morning I saw flurries and the sun was shining at the same time.
I can't believe that the state of Maryland sent me an unexpected check last week. ( a pretty decent sum of money)
I can't believe I spent it already.

SeriousSigma22 03-11-2005 09:25 PM

Reddawn18,

I can't believe that your medicine cost so much!
I can believe that your not feeling well. I hope you have a speedy recovery real soon.

Sorhor Bluereign,

I can't believe that you got back a real big check! Girl go enjoy yourself.

I can't believe that the sun came out on Thursday and Friday and it wasn't snowing.

I want a real spring.

BlueReign 03-18-2005 02:56 PM

I can't believe one of my students died yesterday after the stolen car she was riding in crashed.

I can't believe another student was locked up for stealing a car.

I can't believe that I am hearing that he also got shot!

I can't believe the madness that is going on here at my school.

I can't believe that I have a headache right now:confused: (I don't get headaches)

I CAN believe that there must be something really wrong for me to have a headache.

SeriousSigma22 03-18-2005 09:14 PM

Sorhor Bluereign,

I can't believe that happened as well! Wow!

I can't believe that it's spring break in Fairfax County.

I can't believe that I'm just gonna take it easy for the week.

I can't believe that it was beautiful and warm today!

Serioussigma22

TRSimon 03-21-2005 04:36 AM

Wow.

I can't believe that, either, BlueReign. I hope things get better as the school year goes on.

I hope everything is still going well with your family, NP.

I can't believe that after weeks of 70+ degree weather, I spent most of today shivering....

I can't believe that the Michael Jackson case keeps getting all of this attention. I really can't believe somebody let their child sleep in a room with a middle aged man...

:)

I can't believe that it was such a beautiful day! However, I was working on my final project for a class that I'm taking through the Fairfax County Public School. That class is for enrichment don't trip I'm not working on second masters.

I can't believe that another student went on a rampage and killed his grandfather, the grandfather's girlfriend, a teacher, and several students before turning the gun on himself.

I can't believe that I'm not gonna touch the feeding tube case.

I don't want any drama during my spring break.

God, I love being an educator!

I can't believe that I'm listening to to the CSI marathon on Spike TV.

Serioussigma22:cool:

BlueReign 03-23-2005 02:39 PM

I can't believe it is raining buckets today!
I can't believe that I didn't know that Sigma has 7 pearls, TRSimon (lol!!):D
I can't believe that this would be a "question" to some.
I can't believe how irritated I am.
Come on Spring Break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

SeriousSigma22 03-24-2005 11:19 AM

I can't believe the sun came back out! It's a bit cool though!

I can't believe that I'm still watching the CSI marathon on Spike TV.

I can't believe that my break is almost over.

I can't believe my online final project crashed and I had to recreate the entire assignment. Thank god for back up files.

Serioussigma22:cool:

Knowledge1922 03-24-2005 12:27 PM

It snowed here

BlueReign 03-24-2005 05:49 PM

I can't believe the sad, sad state that Prince Georges County Maryland Public Schools is in.

I can't believe that 24 out of 26 high schools in my county did not meet AYP last year (adequate yearly progress)

I can't believe that in a county that has the highest concentration of middle-income Black Americans we are one of the lowest ranking counties in the state as far as education.

I can't believe that we are not all doing our fair share (parents/educators/community groups) to improve this situation.:(

I can't believe that I am actually planning to work during a portion of my spring break.

(Serious Sigma, I got one of your Fairfax County babies into my class yesterday and I am amazed at what he knows!)

SeriousSigma22 03-27-2005 10:30 AM

Sorhor Bluereign,

I can't believe that P. G. County is having that problem as well.

I can't believe that FCPS (Fairfax County) doesn't really acknowledge vocational education all we do is focus on 99.9% college/university enrollment to the top schools.

I can't believe that they don't teach students to be well rounded.

What's wrong with a child wanting to be a mechanic, plumber, electrician, hair stylist, chef, etc? Those occupations are just as important as the doctor, lawyer, nurse, accountant, educator, police person, etc.. How's a sociologist or psychologist gonna help me when my sink is clogged or my car needs a tuneup?

I can't believe that parents with children that are diagnosed with mild retardation or serious physical challenges refuse special education services and put their kids in "Honors" and "Advanced Placement" classes. It's just crazy how the county and parents are so obsessed over good grades and getting into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Spellman, Morehouse, etc. and will go to such crazy lengths to push their child through the system. Are they really helping or hurting their son/daughter?
