classes 8 to noon, then I have homework assignments to get done by 5. Followed by going to Iowa City to hang and party with the Iowa Alpha men and wake up to tailgate with them tomorrow before skipping town as Iowa State loses.

I only have to stay until 10:30 today because our company picnic is this afternoon and I have to go early to set up. w00t.

Stupid knocked-up out of wedlock Republican girl from a bad school has a fever and I'm taking her shift because I'm a nice person but right now I hate her and want to make her baby a romper that says "Little Bastard" on it.

I am just sitting here waiting for it to be 5:00. My bags are already packed and I am ready to go.

I really don't have anything to work on right now, so unless something CAH-RAY-ZY goes down, it's going to be a loooong afternoon.

I am in exactly the same boat, except the bosses are gone for the weekend too - we don't have a case until next weekend, and my research is completed. I think I've already read every website that is even remotely interesting and is in english. I'm on IMer, to no avail. To top it off, some friends cut out at lunch and are currently heading to the bar to prep for the Sox game, text messaging me to fuck with me about it.

But I need to be here in case something goes down and needs to be done by the weekend. Fuck me.

I think I could tough it out if we could get on IM, however we got a memo earlier this week that IM is no longer allowed.

I really want it to be the end of the work day because I get to go pick my mom up at the airport after work! She's coming to visit me for the long weekend and we are going to do some wedding planning - and eat lots of food! :)

I don't have any projects to work on today so unless some day-to-day sort of task comes down the pike, I have nothing to do. My boss is in one of our other offices today so I can't even ask her for work. Maybe I'll see if anyone has some filing I can help them with or something.

O my goodness!!! The firm's holiday cards are going out soon, and I have been updating/editing addresses in our database for a week solid!!!! AAAArrrrggghhhh!!!!! These attorneys are driving me nuts! Well, it's five o'clock somewhere.........but not here!

oohwee doggy, I was up late last night drinking beers beers beers. Today is going to be the longest day ever. We're doing our Thanksgiving lunch thingy today, I'm gonna be all full of tryptophan and falling asleep at my desk.

I left school right after dismissal today and it was a great feeling. Getting home by 4 is a wonderful thing!

I hate the last day of work before a holiday. Today is going to be chaos. I have a meeting at 9-ish, then a very confrontational family meeting where I pretty much have to be blunt with the parents of a client and tell them they are enabling their son's substance abuse, then run a group, then run a dinner for our clients, then we are supposed to leave early today, but I have to run into Manhattan for a meeting with another client. Ugh, it never ends.

it is 9am..and i get out at 5pm..but what is running through my mind is all the things i still need to get done!!!

im baking 2 apple pies (from scratch) tonight and a pumpkin pie.. to take to my families house.... AND a friend called me and told me Publix is a madhouse and basically empty :( im scared.. will there even be anything left when i get out of work

i HATE being at work when i have a ton of things to do outside work which i know will take me forever to get done..

its going to be a long night.
