Truth - It boggles my mind that a guy (yeah, not NOT my best friend) would seriously feel the need to pay for literally everything . . . rather than chivalrous or old-fashioned, it's anachronistic at best, and arrogant and abasing at worst.

I like paying for things, but it would be completely dick to 'force' some poor girl to have me 'provide' for her all the time. She's not exactly burning her bra by whipping out the wallet, just being a real human being.

Ohhhh wow. What a cool place. However, I was hoping to spend a tad less than that. But It's a good idea for special occasions.
I suggested Enrico's on the phone, and he seemed impressed/happy with that. The website isn't nearly as cool, but they have really fun outdoor dining.

Also, a word to the wise, its very important to have sex with him on the first date. Thats gets it out of the way so you don't have to worry about it anymore. No more obsessing about when is a good time, or whether it will change things.

:-( nothing actually. The date was sort of fun, but conversation was a bit forced, and we never went out a second time. It's too bad, was very cute. But I've moved on. ;) I've been on two dates each with two very good looking boys since (that I also met on the same day). I think each merrits a third... I'm not really sure if I want to go exclusive. We shall see. It's been fun though!

The 2 cute boys I had dates with turned out to be just a little off. The one was too crazy and too wierd, and the other was almost too normal. I have one more date with the normal one... so there is a little hope that he will get better. Maybe. Maybe not. On the plus side, I am going skiing on Saturday. Whoo-hoo!

ETA: normal boy and I had a great time on our last date. He was pretty interesting. We'll see how the next one goes.
