I thought she was gonna shut that shyt down after #16. I think she loves the attention from the outside world and doesn't want to interact with the real world. I feel motherhood is very important.... but all you doin is jumpin on a stick as opposed to actually doing something here... like stop bouncing on the stick and raise these kids! It is ok if you don't have another child... you have all the love with your 16 kids you have been blessed to bring into this world HEALTHY.

ok... I am getting off the box now... but I swear fo Gawd... her Uterus and Ovaries are forming a gang and gonna hoo ride on this chick!

Bless her heart. I just watched the special that showed them moving into their new house. TLC didn't mention baby #17.

And here I am tripping off having baby#3 :D

Jill1228 01-23-2007 03:16 AM

I saw it on a TLC message board that she is expecting. tonight's show was filmed before she got preggo with this one.

Dude, can she send some fertility my way? Especially the vibes that make a pregnancy stick!

She can bounce all she wants, but I'm going to need her to get something snipped. The madness must cease.

SummerChild 01-23-2007 05:52 PM

Wow, she can have as many children as she wants but I can't help but think of one word - KEGEL...I wonder if she can feel *anything* at this point. Wow. Talk about a good reason to not have so many. Plus, she stays pregnant so much - how much do her and her husband really get to have sex.

Arkansas mother gives birth to 16th child

By MELISSA NELSON
Associated Press Writer

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Michelle Duggar just delivered her 16th child, and she's already thinking about doing it again.

Johannah Faith Duggar was born at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and weighed 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces.

The baby's father, Jim Bob Duggar, a former state representative, said Wednesday that mother and child were doing well.

He said Johannah's birth was especially exciting because it was the first time in eight years the family has had a girl.

Jim Bob Duggar, 40, said he and Michelle, 39, want more children.

"We both just love children and we consider each a blessing from the Lord. I have asked Michelle if she wants more and she said yes, if the Lord wants to give us some she will accept them," he said.

The Discovery Health Channel filmed Johannah's birth and plans to air a show about the family of 18 next May.

The Learning Channel is doing another show about the family's construction project, a 7,000-square foot house that should be finished before Christmas. The home, which the family has been building for two years, will have nine bathrooms, dormitory-style bedrooms for the girls and boys, a commercial kitchen, four washing machines and four dryers.

Jim Bob Duggar, who sells real estate, previously lost his bid for the U.S. Senate. He said he expects to run for the state Senate next year but isn't ready to make a formal announcement.

Michelle Duggar had her first child at age 21, four years after the couple married.

Their children include two sets of twins, and each child has a name beginning with the letter "J": Joshua, 17; John David, 15; Janna, 15; Jill, 14; Jessa, 12; Jinger, 11; Joseph, 10; Josiah, 9; Joy-Anna, 8; Jeremiah, 6; Jedidiah, 6; Jason, 5; James, 4; Justin, 2; and Jackson Levi, 1.

oh lawd! i bet Joshua and John David can't WAIT to turn 18 (id guess at this time they already legal)

man, i'm one in 4 and i get smothered as the oldest, so my heart goes out to Joshua. i mean everytime you turn around, mom and dad are knocking another one out!

at least it's with the same man. at that point, they need not divorce or anything.

Krisco 01-24-2007 01:11 PM

Hey guys, This 'couple' is def on another level. He used to be a state rep and was ULTRA CONSERVATIVE. He lost this year in a bid for the senate in his region. This fool was not for our state-funded pre-k program that helps the very low-income parents. I actually work with this program and it is excellent for disadvantaged kids to get that much needed early education. He felt as if child-care should be the parents responsibility. First of all the ABC program in AR is not child-care, its preschool for 3 & 4 olds who NEED a good start in life and the odds are stacked against them. I am sure many a kindergarten teacher can testify on this one. And, not every parent can afford 17 kids and a 7,000 sq. footer!

They are from Tontitown, wherever the hell that is...

Only somebody from a town called Tontitown would have 17 kids. What is a tonti anyway? It's probably whatever keeps knocking her arse up.

Hey if her walls still holding up, she is my new role model.
I don't know how she(cause what he doing?) do it, I've had one child in life so far and I am usually beat when I hit the pillow at night, and home-schooled too!

Hell-to-the naw! Ya'll gottta get the heck outta here DAILY!

carnation 01-24-2007 06:03 PM

Tontitown is this little town between Fayetteville and the Oklahoma border. When I went to UAF, almost everyone from Tontitown was Italian and named Pianalto or Abplanalp. That last name is not a typo.

BlessedOne04 01-24-2007 06:49 PM

As long as they find a way to take care of all those kids they can keep on having!!

Michelle Duggar said she started feeling contractions Wednesday night and went to the hospital at about 5 a.m. Thursday.

"It actually went fast," she said. "I guess once I started progressing, it went within 30 minutes."
I'm suprised it didn't just slide right out...

kiml122 08-03-2007 06:39 PM

Everytime I see them on Discovery health I'm like will you stop already. After they had the 16th child Jim Bob and Michelle were talking that ummm what about another....this was just after she had the 16th and moved into their new house that was able to hold all of them.....and then I read some where that she was pregnant again, and then on Discovery Health they actually had a commercial stating and congratulating them on the arrival of the 17th child...all i have to say is these people are out of control....I'm sorry if I offend anyone with, but DAYUM....that is a hot holy mess to me.

UrbanizdSkillz 08-03-2007 06:51 PM

Shouldn't she be close to menopause or something? I mean dayum come on now.

kiml122 08-03-2007 06:52 PM

If I remember correctly I think she is only like 42 maybe 44...somewhere in there

They should be in the book of world records for single-handedly re-populating a town.

christiangirl 08-03-2007 06:57 PM

You know...I bet everytime Michelle says, "Guess what kids?" a wave of fear grips each and every one of their souls and a hush falls over the entire town.

She's 40, so she can still have about 2 or 3 more kids. Maybe they're aiming for an even 20.

kiml122 08-03-2007 08:17 PM

See, I was trying to help her out.....thta whole family is crazy, and her wanting to have baby after baby after baby...I mean damn when is she going to give her damn body a break?

AlphaFrog 08-03-2007 08:27 PM

One article I read says she's been pregnant for a total of 10 1/2 years.
