I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU
YOU SET ME FREE
I CANT DO THIS THING CALLED LIFE WITHOUT YOU HERE WITH ME
'CAUSE I'M DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE WITH YOU
I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU
JUST KEEP LOVING ME
THE WAY YOU LOVE YOU'RE LOVING ME

I AM IN LOVE AND IT'S EXACTLY HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY BABY

THE SONG TO HER DADDY IS REALLY GOOD TOO.

I AINT GOIN FRONT I HAVE A BURNED COPY AND UNTIL RECENTLY I INTENDED ON BUYING THE CD. BUT THE ENTIRE JAMAICA IS BOYCOTTING HER AND JAY Z AND SINCE I AM JAMAICAN YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES.....

I am Beyionce' fan, hate to say it but it is true.

Dangerously in Love, the song, however, first appeared on the Destiny's Child "survivor" CD> Is is only slightly different on Beyonce's solo joint.

I still think there is something very very fake about her. I can't put my finger on it. I'm just not there with her. I've never doughted her singing or writing ability, but the rest...I don't know..she just rubs me the wrong way.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. There is just something about her that when I see her on T.V. I have to change the channel. I don't know...it seems like everyone is hanging from HER bra straps these days and I'm not jumping on the bandwagon.

And I'm not feeling the CD. I listened to a lot of it (my friend bought it) and I was about ready to fall asleep. All that singing to JayZ was irritating.

And YES, you can call me a Beyonce hater. :D :) :p

I think she will be on later this week. Today's show is with Arnold Schwarzen..whatever and Maria Shriver. Madonna is tomorrow. I think Beyonce is Wednesday.

I checked the site again. Looks like Arnold and Maria will be on today (9/15) and Beyonce will be on Friday (9/19). I've also head that Mary J. is going to be on next Wednesday (9/24).

I just saw the show and Oprah said (in the middle of the show) that Maria and Ahhhhhnold ran long and that Beyonce' is going to be on Friday. I saw a blip of her and she didn't have that nappy thing going on -- she had that flowy weave that she wears.

BTW, unbeWEAVABLE is on 106 and Park today.....

ANNNNNDDD, I got some pictures in my email from her birthday party. I have to admit, she did look pretty, but, she's still as fake as can be.

How can I post them here?

I was thinking the same thing!! I like his eyes and dimples!! I loved Mary's half of the show. However, I felt that Oprah could have done better with Aretha's half. When you hear tribute, you think (or at least I did) that people will be singing an Aretha song. Plus, it didfn't seem like Oprah talked to her that much.

AKA2D '91 05-07-2004 08:52 AM

Did anyone catch this episode? I missed it.

kiml122 05-07-2004 09:12 AM

Yup, I saw it at the hairdresser. He wasn't on the entire show, just the first 20 or 30 minutes. I don't think he looks good at all. Grant it, he looks good for what he went through, but I don't think he is going to make a full recovery. I think he was laying on that floor to long by himself to come back fully. What he has come back to is really good though.

They showed him at physical therapy for walking and talking. Also they had him sing a song, and O sang with him. You can tell that he can understand what she was asking, but was having a hard time getting his thoughts and words together to get them out. O went to him at his rehab place. It was a really nice place though. His mom was also in the audience at the studio, and so was one of his nieces.

If anyone else saw the show, why do you think he was wearing the sun glasses. I'm thinking maybe something is wrong with his vision because of the stroke.

I didn't see the show, hairdressor doesn't have a TV, only radio. But, when I saw the Grammy's I figured something was wrong with at least one eye. It seemed to do it's "on thing." It reminded me of my aunt who had a massive stroke. I think the doctors said she was blind in that eye.

Being without oxygen for THAT long and still being alive is a MIRACLE.

#1 Leading Lady 05-07-2004 11:51 AM

That show was so sad....especially when the showed clips of the old Luther versus the new Luther. When he sang, I was in tears and in a puddle of tears when they showed his therapy sessions and how hard he worked and listening to his speech. That was a deep show. His mother is defnitely inspirational and has been a big part of his recovery process.

It could be me seeing things but it looked to me that his right eye is wandering while his left eye focuses normally (straight ahead).

I was in tears the entire show.

kiml122 05-07-2004 02:10 PM

Thanks AKA2D,

I figured that something had to be up with his eyes, and yes it is a miracle that he is still alive since he was without oxygen for so long.

I agree with #1LL and stardustwin, it was really sad. I mean to see him like that now vs. seeing the old clips of him before. But, also to see that he was making strides to come back and to read, and walk, and sing was beautiful.

delph998 05-07-2004 02:27 PM

Yeah, I saw it too and broke down and cried. When Oprah told his mother that she was an awesome mother, I really broke down because I know my mother has been so superb. I called her and told her thanks for the being the most awesome mother out there!
