Friday is dress down day where I teach :)

Lectures finished for the day and I am headed to cocktails at my Professor/advisor's residence (actually these are usually fun as he always has a really interesting visiting type, and he pours a good drink) and then dinner with a 1L I met earlier this week. Since this is both a first dinner date and a "go to the Prof's" evening I am wearing an olive Harris tweed three piece herringbone suit with a cream tattersol shirt and a dark hunter green tie. Dark oxblood brogues and a Barbour wax jacket (its sort of cold tonight). Oh, and yes I will have my pin on my vest under my suit coat. We are both Catholic so it will be seafood tonight (Friday in Lent) and there is a really great place I have been meaning to hit since I got back.

Today I am wearing my Jaycee baseball jersey, a blue hoodie, and jeans.

Right now I'm still in my PJs (I work later today) but I will be wearing:

pink mini from Express, white Tommy cardigan, pink-and-green polo from AW, pink Coach flip flops (it's going to be in the 60s here!!!!) and gold jewelry.

Right now I'm torn between a intramurals shirt from the all-boys high school, a ten year-old basketball camp shirt, or a "throwers: we put the fat in field and track" shirt. WHAT TO DO?

Those will be complimented by dirty (not dirty wash) AE low-rise bootcuts, a pink AE frayed belt, Adidas sandals, and my NF. God I love midterms!

Seeing as how its 8:30 and I just rolled my fat butt outta bed, I am still dressed in my "winter pj's" -- a tank top and knit shorts. Can't stand to be hot while I'm sleeping!!

My accent to this totally chic look would be my hair sticking straight up with stray curls very much resembling the whole "Ursula" look from Little Mermaid. Dang I'm hot :p !

Posting to this thread makes me realize I wear some combination of the same thing every day. Turtleneck sweater/jeans or slacks. Time to mix things up a little I think. To bad it's like 60 degrees in my office year round so I'm still wearing heavy sweaters in summer.

Hee hee. Hubby would love that. He still misses his good old college throwing days. If I have to hear how out of shape he is and how much he wishes he were still throwing hammer, I'm going to throw the damn thing at him! He should get enough of it coaching field part time at the college here (Coe) as it is!

OMG how long has he been coaching there? I threw against them a few times at my last school.

I think he started as soon as he moved to CR, so 5-6 years? He's a ginormous redhead (though he didn't really have hair until after he met me, so he could have been the ginormous shaved-head guy) He coaches both indoor and outdoor.

Today's my bummie day. An orange hoodie and guess jeans.

Khaki pants and a Hertz long sleeved shirt. Work clothes are great...you don't have to worry about what you are going to wear everyday! :) You just have to make sure that they're clean. :)
