I wish I was able to attend your initiation. I was supposed to be over your way this week for graduate school interviews. The program is running behind schedule, though, so they're not even ready to interview people, yet.

I am getting excited for my trip to Dallas tomorrow!

Just found out the girls at SMU have made room for me to sleep there at the chapter house after initiation -- that is great but now I am worried my snoring will keep them all up all night :eek: (I am pretty awful!) Oh well, at least I won't be there too long! I have to be at the airport Friday morning at 4am-ish for my flight back to Atlanta :eek: Yawn!

I am now an official sister of GAMMA PHI BETA!! The initiation was just awe-inspiring. The members did a wonderful job of presenting the ceremony. I was so excited that when it was over I told all the collegiate initiates: "I WAITED 30 YEARS FOR THIS!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!" They were really sweet and were happy for me as well.

Cele got here and took part in the activities. She is so fun!! I was pinned with my sponsor's pin from UT's Alpha Zeta chapter.

The ceremony was very touching and I couldn't help but notice similarities to another fraternal group I belong to.

It's wonderful to belong to a sorority - especially for the world's oldest new initiate!!
