|
I purchased a new one Thursday. I got rid of my Sony Ericcsson, which was discontinued. I kept hearing these noises and such.
So, I now have a LG(insert some number here). LOL :D |
T-Mobile always has service unlike Sprint. I have a Samsung S105, its about time to upgrade to a camera phone though. Has anyone heard that Verizon and Cingular are merging together???

This is my phone...sometimes the service is really bad but if u move one step forward or one step back it's perfect. It gets annoying sometimes. Is that a Sprint thing or is it my phone? |
Well, yes alot of folks complain that SPRINT sucks , but I live in an area where service providers are ummm...limited, so it works for me. And, no matter where I go in this country, I'll be able to use my phone. I have no complaints, so far.

Does anyone here have Alltel? I need to find an authorized dealer site. My cell phone is terminally ill.
|
CDM 8900 by Audiovox. The ringer is so loud!
|
I have a Kyocera SE 47. Complete trash!!! Do not buy this phone because it drops like every third call. It's ridiculous.
|
LOL
It has been a long wait, but I can finally post here. I have a Samsung LG C1300 cell phone. I must say that I feel so responsible, because I am 18, I am about to go off to college, and I was able to buy the phone with my money. God is an AWESOME wonder :D

I got one of those, too!

Problem is, this thing has so many friggin bells and whistles on it, I really don't know how to work any of them. IMHO I'm lucky I know how to make a plain ordinary call. On the good side, though, it was valued at $300, but it was sold to me for $150 and a $100 rebate ($50 from the manufacturer, $50 from the local dealer). The camera is pretty cool. Maybe I can get more recent pics posted on line for the "Look At Me" thread. Help me out on how to work this thing. |
I have a Panasonic GU 87. I told myself that I wasn't going to get a camera phone....alas....I did *sigh* And now thanks to my brother, I have more ringtones than the average person....LOL :D
|
Hubby and I have Motorola i205's from Nextel. It is very plain and has no bells and whistles. We can call and walkie-talkie each other. That's it. :)
|
I have a Siemens phone that is so small, I misplace it almost every day. That's why I hate it. My 'other' thought it would be nice if I have a baby phone. Wishful thinking on his part. I want to get a blue tooth phone but they are soooo expensive right now, so I will wait unitl they go on sale...sale being my favorite word....woo hooo!!!!

I want THIS puppy!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...7/motorazr.jpg Sleek, beautiful, and EXPENSIVE! Only $519 with a 2-year Cingular contract. Hopefully by the time I can upgrade my phone next year, it will have dropped $469 dollars. . . |

Wow...this thread is still around
When I started this thread I had a Nokia 3595 and service through Cingular. Now I have th Samsung a650 from Verizon which I absolutely love. My favorite feature with this phone is probably the "whisper mode". You can actually whisper and the person you are talking to can hear you as if you were talking in a regular tone of voice. That's good for when you are creepin...not that I ever creep :) .

This is the phone I have (Siemens c61). I've had it since October and I really like it. It has a color screen and pretty loud ringer. My big problem is that if I drop it the cover tends to pop off the back. :( |
Greetings Sorors and serious sisterfriends:
Been away for awhile recovering from some minor surgery. Getting caught up on the happenings and saw this topic. Since I got a new cell phone for Xmas, I just had to respond! I'm an AT &T customer and I own 4 phones. :p Yes, I said 4! I consider cell phones as accessories and one should have enough to suit his/her mood. *first phone* Motorola c333: The cutest, little phone. I had a customoized faceplate which was pink so you know sorors were clowning me all the time. The fave feature for me was that its so small that it fit in my pants pocket. *second phone* LG4010: Nice phone. I liked it because it was silver, very thin, and a flip phone. The greyscale LCD leaves a lot to be desired. Hard to download papers and ringtones. I use this phone the least. *third phone* Sony Ericsson T226: Great color phone. Nice ringtones and very clear color screen. Cute themes and wallpapers. Good support from the Sony Ericsson site. Also has camera capabilities. *most recent phone* LG 4015: My baby! Great flip phone and in color too! I have downloaded lots of AKA wallpapers and great poly ringtones. I am in love with this phone and will use it for a good while. For everyone looking to get AKA wallpaper (or any type of wallpaper), please go to www.pix2fone.com. This program lets you select any graphic you see online and send it directly to your phone and its FREE!!! You can use the program online from the pix2fone.com website or as a browser attachement to IE. Most phones ar supported. pNc |

I got a Motorola v180 as an early birthday present. Its small, which is something that I will have to get used to. I loved my Nokia 3595. The new phone's manual is not very user friendly, the rings were hard to locate and leave much to be desired (can I get a plain ring, please? lol) and the menu set up is a bit confusing. I'll let ya'll know the final outcome in a week or so. lol
sistergreek pointnclick: do you switch back and forth btwn the phones? |
Quote:
Luckily, my service is SIM based. So all I have to do is switch out my card and insert it into any phone compatible with my provider. |
duh.. lol.. I'd forgotten about that little card thingie.. lol..
|
LOL, no problem sistergreek.
I do love the ease and portability of my SIM card. It's the best!:D |
I bought this phone a couple of days ago and it's just too much. I think I've mentioned on here that I'm opposed to reading user manuals, so this clearly isn't the phone for me. There are just too many features. Does anybody else have this phone? I have a couple of questions for you.

And the razr phones have dropped in price. Now I think they're a bit over $350 with a 2 year contract. TKE, you said you have this razr phone. Did you get rid of it, or you have this as well as the TREO 650? |

No matter what, when you purchase a phone you receive a warranty through both the provider as well as the maker of the phone. Why do I know this? Because I have dropped my phone. I have put my phones into washing machines. I spilled beer on my phone. My phone fell into the ocean off of Key Largo. My phone just randomly stopped working. I have had more replacement phones than anyone else I know on Cingular, AT&T, and T-Mobile. They all provide you with a replacement phone of the same model over night to you for like 10 bucks or several days later from the manufacturer for free. I lied about the water damage 2 times and pretended I had no idea what was wrong with the phone. And after the first replacement, they don't even charge you the $10 bucks to overnight it to you :D Oh and I've bought my phones on Amazon.com, buy.com, and through a bunch of tiny local retailers. I have found that the local retailer sell you at higher cost and the phones aren't always sold as new. -Rudey |

Usually when someone comes in a retail store they will direct the best buy people to the warrenty number or send them back to best buy or the agent they bought it from. It would not be replaced at the retail store. Most people use the warrenty number now anyways and don't know what company is providing the warrenty. |
