I pledged about 2 days before classes started in my freshman year!

Fall semester of freshman year, I also was 17.

second semester of my 4th year (I'm on the 5 year plan :rolleyes: )

In '99. I was 20 at the time.

I joined my in Fall of 1999. My first semester in college and I am now an Alum as of the 1st of December.

KKPsi: colonized at the end of my 1st year
Phi Delt: initiated spring quarter of '03 (2nd year)

I just pledged Pi Beta Phi (Fall 2003). This is my first semester at the University of North Texas.

I joined in the Fall of 1996...my first semester in college!

I pledged ZTA before classes began my freshman year in 1960. Yes, I know I'm old as dirt!! The question was never IF I would pledge but rather WHAT I would pledge.

Babe, here I thought I was the oldest GCer. You have 10 years on me. I pledged in November, 1970, as a first-semester student.

I'm with you on this one, my sister! Got my COM last year, hope to get the honor ring some day and having a blast. The awards are just the icing on the cake.

radioZTA - I have both - got them a long time ago and had a blast doing it. Congratulations on your Certificate of Merit. I got my Honor Ring first and thought the other would never come. It truly is icing on the cake!

First semester junior year Fall 2001

This is true in my case as well.

I pledged Fall 1994, my Freshman year in college. I had a whole new group of 125 sisters before I ever set foot in a college classroom.

I joined Sigma Phi Epsilon in Summer 2000. I started college in Fall 2000

I pledged my Junior year and was very active my remaining years in school. Since then I have remained actively involved from working at our IHQ to being on our Volunteer Service Team. I think pledging later keeps you from getting really burnt out like many others do after 4-5 years. Also, I knew what I wanted in a GLO when I went through recruitment. :)

I joined Phi Sig in the spring of 2002, it was my second year in school.

At my school you arent allowed to pledge any greek organization till spring semster freshman year. I pledge Gamma Phi Beta Spring 2003:cool:
