SO just to let you all know, there are plans for a simple life 2. The guy from the show, they called Chops, is known here by us as Trae, and hes a Lambda Chi. Got initiated last November. The show was setup in a lot of ways to make arkansas look bad. While they were at teh gas station, no nicer trucks or cars were allowed to get gas and be seen on camera. Only the old beat up run down barely making it cars were shown.

did anyone else catch season two last night? after paris got out of the hospital from getting kicked by the horse, she was interviewed and said that she has ridden many horses before. if so, then why did she ask how to make the horse go faster? :rolleyes:

Because she's not the brightest bulb on the christmas tree.

I watched a little bit of it - enough to see them talk an old man into putting on nothing but chaps and showing them his butt. :eek: I don't really like the two of them because they seem to talk down to everyone.

The do talk down to everyone. I remember watching them while the "worked" in Sonic. I was so disgusted by their behaviour.

Just because they have daddy paying for everything, doesn't mean everyone else does. Show a little respect for the hard working person.

Umm she makes her own money. In fact she's making money from the show.

Did you see the pissed off look on the guy's face in the first episode when Nicole told him " Put the five back and give me the ten"? I wouldn't have given her anything after that. Hell I wouldn't have given her anything to begin with. Now I know theyhave maids and butlers but you're in your 20s and you don't know metal can't go into microwaves? Give me a break.

When it comes to Paris Hilton, there are two types of men; those who find her attractive, and those who are gay (not that there is anything wrong with being gay.)

Seriously, I'm sure they are making their own money now from modeling, this show, etc but they still act like little spoiled brats.
I cannot believe she put a pot into the microwave! You would think even with nannies, butlers and maids you would learn a few things that are necessary for life - like not putting metal in the microwave!

Paris is hot.

Now Nicole on the other hand... I won't even mention what my boyfriend said about her when she made the Maxim Hot 100.

And Nicole ranked higher than so many other better looking women. Paris is pretty...most of the time. She was telling Letterman that she's playing a character on the show. So the pot in the microwave was probably just an act. Or she could just be that stupid.

I would think it's playing an act. I've been with a lot of girls who joke around like that. Whatever. Now I feel like Jessica Simpson on the other hand is not playing around. That is real. That is scary.

I was going to ask what you all thought about that - do you think these girls on tv (Paris, Jessica, etc) are just playing it up to get better ratings or are they really that dumb? I could see how one could argue that Paris is playing a role and Jessica is just dumb. My friends who watch Newlyweds thinks she plays it up but I really don't think she does.

Everyone plays on something right? That's part of their charm. But certain things are just difficult to just say you're playing a role (like asking about wings on buffalos).

The first season of Newlyweds seemed quite real. The following seasons seem like she is just making things up because she knows watchers will buy into it.


I also think the people Paris & Nicole are coming into contact with are also staged.

Call me crazy, but I think I'd rather bang Nicole over Paris.

i heard our local radio station say that paris was in the process of making an album a couple of months ago, and that it was on the hush hush until later. she is suppose to actually sound good and was told that she can be the next christina, voice wise. thats what they said so i dont know.

back to the show, i was so hoping that the parents of that little girl paris and nicole were suppose to be babysitting would go off on them and say how irresponsible and stupid they were........but it didn't happen.

I'm going to buy the CD as soon as it comes out.

Yeah she's been talking about how she's coming out with an album this year. But voice-wise she is nowhere near Christina. I heard her sing on Access Hollywood and she was just alright. She sings in that high pitched baby voice that she speaks with most of the time. With the right producers, it could be ok.

No way... Nicole looks kind of phugly a lot of the time. Almost deformed around the nose and eyes. Paris is hot, but too skinny and coked out looking most of the time.

last night's episode was just plain rude. how can they go into burger kings and order a bunch of food but have no money to pay for it? :rolleyes: then find some random guy who thinks you are hot and have him pay for it. i probably would have done the same thing and pay for them :D

what's up with all the smilies on my tv screen ;). also, how wrong was paris and nicole to have another maid come in and clean the room they were suppose to be cleaning while ordering food and billing it to the owner of that room? :mad:

i had a dream last night that i was listening to paris hilton's album. it sounded really good, but that was a dream. we shall see in reality.

See, this is why I can't watch this show. They're not being funny. They're downright disrespectful and rude!
