While the numbers are fallacious . . . so is your personalization of them. Also, he is limiting his point to those in France . . . that's nothing to do with your culture, so why would you be offended? Unless there's some universal Muslim culture (which is a point we all refute)?

This is borderline nonsense, but we'll discuss. First of all, his implication was NOT what you say it is, to my mind. He was saying that a culture that believes rape is a matter of circumstance and reality does not exist in (primarily Christian) America. Others made the point that Christians do stupid crap too, and he was providing a macro example to dispute microphenomena.
