He reigns his Mother in (right then and there) when she is grilling me with too many questions or has one to many comments for me. :)

He comes and (for hours) helps to organize your chaotic apartment to help you prepare "the perfect study environment" in preparation for studying for a big upcoming exam.

He buys you a bed desk when he sees the big books that you have sprawled across the bed, he remembers your favorite (random) painter from the Impressionist period although he is not that kind of art buff and buys you a calendar of your favorite painter's works.

He offers to clean your kitchen and bathroom while you relax and curl up with a good book because he knows how much you love to read and how much you hate your typical Saturday cleaning sessions.

You ask him to be your guest at your grandmother's birthday party, which is being held at a location 2 hrs. away. You get on the road and your car breaks down. He gets your car towed back to your place, and drives you to your grandmother's party, even though by the time you get there it's practically over. He doesn't utter a single negative word the entire time while you pout about your bad luck.

He lifts the restraining order.

He offers to clean up your room while you are studying for Finals or just too tired to do it yourself!

You KNOW your man loves you when....

You're admitted to the hospital and he stays with you the entire time (5 days leaving only once to go to the store for YOU) because he knows you'll be miserable...

He goes out and buys feminine products because he knows you don't like the hospital offerings....

He knows what feminine products to buy without asking...

He "administers" your feminine products for you (although the nurse would have easily completed this task) because you're too ill to do so yourself.

He continuously champions your intergrity as a woman/lady.

Mine did that today! It was extra sweet because normally he is a complete slob. He even arranged my stuffed animals on the bed, it was too cute. :)

When he looks at you his eyes light up as if he's seeing you for the first time.

He tells his friends that you're "the one".

He consoles you when your beautician "trims" a little too much off by saying "you're beautiful no matter how your hair is, you could rock a baldie and be a cutie :p".

When you're angry with him he says something funny to break the ice.

For the fellas...you know your woman loves you when she gives you the big piece of chicken.

When he chooses to say your breath is a little "tart" rather than it "stinks" while you try to give him a kiss...

Wow. :eek: That's a whole 'nother level!! Gyrl, he's a keeper.

1. When you say you will be home late because you're having a rough work day, he sends the following text message:

Let me know when you'll be home. Your bath water will be hot and your dinner on the table.

2. When you're competing in your very first half marathon, and he's waiting for you to cross the finish line while holding calla lillies in 30 degree, snowy, rainy weather.

He gives me the remote when we watch tv (smile) and he switched sides of the bed because we both slept on the left.

When your 2,000 miles away and you call him because you had a bad day because your IPod has crashed........ Well you get new ipod delivered to your job the next day full of your favorite songs spanning the 15 years you have been friends. Not to mention the sterling roses with a simple note, "Something to make my baby smile!"

When he not only pulls your card when you need it, but knows EXACTLY the right moment to do so (when you will actually accept it and listen).

When he sends you this message: " I love you with every ounce of my being. (including the one's from my previous lives)" for no reason at all.

When he works 3rd shift EVERY night for 14 nights to make sure that he can come to visit you and his son.

He will put the age candles "21" on a slice of your birthday cake (chocolate, yum) even though you are far removed from that age!


He will also sit a part from the rest at your graduation...he knows what it took for you to get to that moment. He was there in the good and the very bad...he wants to enjoy the moment by himself.
