I don't know about Blu Cantrell. I didn't buy her last CD and the only song I've heard from the new CD is "Breathe", which came out months ago.

I WILL be picking up Beyonce's CD at Best Buy. Best Buy is the only store that even had the CD on sale or in their Sunday circular. Maybe it's because the album was pushed up.

Don't forget that Mya's CD comes out next month on the 22nd.

"Step in the Name of Love" (original and remix) is a great song. The entire "Chocolate Factory" CD is great although it's been overshadowed by Rra's legal woes.

Alicia Keys is in the new issue of The Source. Hew next album will drop in November.

For those who would like to hear Ashanti's new CD, you can go toMTV to hear it. I'm listening to it and so far I can tell you that I will NOT be buying this one.

Okay so what is everyone's verdict on Beyonce's CD? I. personally, like it. It has a lot of different sounds on it and sounds nothing like the DC sound. However, one thing I noticed when reading the liner notes is that Jay-Z had a big hand in this album. His name is listed in the credits for about five songs.

I plan to cop both Beyonce and Blu by the close of business tomorrow since I am on house arrest this weekend. :( ;)

Gina, I listened to Ashantis album on MTV also. It sucks. There is one tight song on there though, called Let It Rain. I will be downloading that.

I listened to the entire CD also libra. I didn't like any of the songs. She will not be getting my $9.99. You better watch out with the downloading, did you see the thread on Chit Chat? ;)

I just got Beyonce's CD and I must say that it is HOT! I have a whole new respect for her. I just wish she would work on her interviewing skills...she sound so ghetto.

I got Beyone's CD yesterday from Best Buy # 9.99 and it was great!!!!!!!! I love the Entire Cd, even if 95% of the songs were like ballads, I like it :D

I also got the new triple 6 cd, wish I hadn't, I was choosing between this cd, monica and Floetry (which she will be here in Nashville pretty soon)
The only song I liked on the triple 6 cd was the song with lil'flip (my husband) called "spinners" I plan on selling it to somebody today. :(

i forgot to tell you all that i saw Talib Kweli's CD at Best Buy on Sunday for 9.99

I may have to go and get it. When is Mos Def going to release a new one?

1. I just got Beyonce. It is $9.99 at both CC and BB

2. I got Blu -- $10.99 @ CC

3. I got Donnie (Ideal08 loves him; I miss her :( ) and it was $9.99 @ CC as well.


Oh and Miss Blu has some sort of DVD interview with Wendy Williams. I am about to load them on my computer and will listen to all by close of business on Sunday. :D

Be cautious of the DVD. There may be some of her "Black Tail" footage on there. I wouldn't want your hair to turn white.
