But the only problem with answering the question would be revealing who I am... because I do work in the publishing industry. CT4, let me know what you think (since you know already LOL). |

I'm still debating on when, where, how and if I will reveal my identity... partially because the revelation can impact some those around me who are participants on this site and those who are just "viewers." SideNote... it will be a while before I submit another contribution to the story and now that I am working and going to school, I will be cutting back my contributions to once or twice a week. I am shooting for the later, but once I get into my new schedule, I'll be straight. See ya'll next week. 112 |
Will Make A Contribution Tonight.
Sup Peeps,
Many of you have asked me about my literary work or where to find it. However, due to the discreteness of this message board and other reasons, I am not allowed to reveal my name (BOO!). I am happy that I am allowed to share this little bit of news with you. On May 15, 2003 the novel I am working on, They Called Him Mike will be syndicated on DimeMind.com. I am writing under the name Still My Friend and you can send comments about the story to stillmyfriend@hotmail.com. It has already made an appearance on a few websites/private chat boards already and I hope that it turns into a hit. The novel is about a friendship between a straight man and a gay man that blossoms over time. I have been told by people who have read the story that those of you who enjoy E. Lynn Harris’ work may also enjoy this story. I am still writing the story and new chapters will be posted every two weeks on the DimeMind.com website. My editors and I have decided to use the website as a testing ground to see whether or not the content of my story can be enjoyed in book format. Towards the end of the novel, we will have a time period to let readers vote on whether or not they want to see They Called Him Mike in print and their likelihood of buying the novel. If a significant percentage of readers vote yes, then the book will come out early to mid 2004, depending on completion time. The reason my editors and I decided to publish the book this way was so that we could get a feel for how the book may perform in the literary market. To give you the heads up, the story has received minimum editing partially due to the fact that one of the websites this story is published on has deadlines for the story. Please note that if the book gets published in print format, it will be thoroughly edited. We are just testing the storyline and flow of the book. The reason that I am advertising DimeMind.com is that it is a new website for writers who want to submit their works for public viewing. The writer’s email address will be posted so you can provide them feedback about their story through their email address. As one of the editors, I am extending the invitation to you to submit your short stories if you so choose. I want to thank all of you who continue to send words of encouragement and encourage me to submit scenes for “The Good, The Bad, The GC.” I hope you continue to enjoy my work. I will be making contributions in the night time as opposed to the day for now, I hope that works out. In Unity, 112 P. S. – No, I don’t know 112 personally, but they are my favorite R&B group so that is where the name comes from ;). |
I have finally added the contributions... I will try to add another set on Thursday or Friday. I hope ya'll enjoy.
I like the party scene, but when will it be over??? j/p |
112, How are you going to have Alice suddenly be a member of another sorority when she had been perping Delta for umpteen years and she was president of the Delta chapter. Her sister Ann didn't step in until recently (when you set up the kidnapping scenario.) LOL

If you're Eric Jerome Dickey, can you please explain to me why the male character in Between Lovers didn't have a name? That was sooo annoying. I kept waiting for somebody to call his name, and nobody ever did:mad: ! |

OneOneTwo Secrets Revealed...
Sup Peeps:
I was just writing to let you know that I did update the webdrama this week. I hope that ya'll have enjoyed. Also, I wanted to announce that later this week, I will be retiring this name and going by a new one. This new name will also serve as promotion for the writing project that I will premiere in July. I guess that means that ya'll finally get to find out who I am... almost. I think that with the change in situation and the upcoming changes in my life and my friends' lives and seeing as how many people either have, have not, will get to or may never see their dream happen while in college that it is time for me to move in a new direction. I think it is time the members of the forum to get to know me the person a little more. Will there be consequences for me... well, lets just say that it can't be any worse than what I have already been through... but there are alot of positives that will come out in the end. Some of ya'll will know immediately that this name belongs to me because it is one of my more popular characters. But for those who don't know him... you'll get to see him in July. Again, thanks for providing a medium to share my works and I look forward to reading what some of you have to contribute. OneOneTwo C.K. A. The STREET |
I just realized that this thread has been dormant for a while....when is the hiatus over??

I have been chatting off and on in the past two weeks durring some of my free time because between going to school, getting my company back afloat and working, I am also in the midst of completing my fourth literary project titled the little boy who did, which will be released to book stores July 2004. I can't get into too many details about the project just yet cause the book ain't finished ;) . I will post more info once I get closer and closer to the exact release date (which hasn't been decided on yet). As one member poster will be able to help me confirm on Tuesday I have also been working on my webdrama, "Othello Street" which will have its Second Season Premiere this Tuesday, June 24, 2003. I plan to have more episodes this season then I did last year's teaser season with more characters and as always more drama. I will be picking up right where I left off so there will be more twist and turns this coming year. I also got a few surprises in store for this season that I am excited about. As for "The Good, The Bad, The GC" I will need to perform a search and copy all the scenes that were written for the drama. This way, I will be able to pick up where I left off. I will see about writing some more stories for this drama in the next few weeks if that is what ere'body wants. |
How could it be cancelled? There was no activity for a few weeks so it was unstuck from the top. It is still in the forum, all you have to do is reply to the soap and it comes back to page one.

I got ya' ;)

The DRAMA IS BACK
Aight ya'll,
In addition to keeping my webdrama, "Othello Street" (www.OthelloStreet.com) up on a weekly basis, I will try my best (but don't hold me to it) to update this drama at least twice a week. I don't know when I will update it because I haven't set my schedule yet but I will update it. If ya'll want to help, that's cool, if ya'll don't that's cool too. I do want to thank everyone who has been keeping up with the drama and trying to find out where I have been. I know that some of the other writers do plan on returning and I hope I have supplied them with something they can work with. Also give me feedback on what you like, don't like, want to see and got a problem with cause I want everyone to enjoy the stories. Enjoy. |
