HC I am moving to DC (well, really Maryland, but whatever)?! :D HC I am SO excited?! HC I am gonna live with one of my good friends from back home? HC she is hookin' me up with a P/T job at the bookstore she works at? HC it's a Black bookstore? HC that's heaven right there? HC I am HEAVILY looking for a job? HC I spent so much time today looking for a bookstore/newstand that carries the Washington Post? HC I just like to use the actual paper when I'm job searching? HC it makes me feel more in control or something? HC I know I can look at the jobs on the internet? HC I still wanted the paper? HC I could not find a single place that carried it? HC I just felt like that was MY news to share? HC what ticks me off about it is that she didn't even ask to see my boss? HC my boss heard that she was downstairs and took it upon herself to go down and talk to her? HC that right there is one of the reasons I'm up outta this piece? HC she could not just wait until I went to my meeting a few hours later? HC after my meeting, I sat down with my volunteer to talk with her? HC she immediately asked me if the problem was my boss? HC the real necessities are a diet low in saturated fat and trans fats(note: trans fats are the ones in margarine- they can be identified by looking for hdrogenated oils in the ingredients list on your food) and refined carbohydrates and potatoes
HC refined carbs (white bread, white rice, etc) and potatoes have a drastic effect on your blood sugar HC other types of fat are important- unsaturated fats can lower your LDL (bad cholesterol) and boost your HDL (good cholesterol) HC if you want some suggestions PM me. HC the answers involve eating a lot of chicken and salmon (yummy), lol. HC also a lot of nuts, beans and VEGETABLES- can't replace the phytochemicals found in fruit and veggies with a vitamin. |
