LOL
You all have me cracking up over here... About:
3LW...It stands for 3 little women. One of you read my mind, about the girl Keelie...I have never seen someone on t.v. so buck toothed! It really bothers me to watch her singing on my tv. I remember her on a talk show implying that she was Lil Bow Wow's girlfriend. I wish Natori the best of luck. I always thought that mini J-Lo would be the first to leave the group. Michael Jackson...that picture has me cracking up. I keep looking at it! I get the mjmorningshow where I live too. He is funny. MJ has turned himself into a monster. That slide show is like watching a scary movie. I'm sitting there waiting for a thriller-like face to pop up next. LOL. |
Hot Mess!!!
I love Michael but he is just a hot mess(looking at the site)! What is he doing to himself? He's looking more and more like Liz Taylor every day. I am wondering how his recent child (conceived by him) looks and will he/she wonder what the crap happened to his father.... :)

PEPSI VS. LUDACRIS!!!
Has anyone heard about this whole thing about Pepsi pulling the commercials featuring Ludacris? I heard bits a pieces this morning on the radio. Something about a Fox news commentator made comments about not drinking Pepsi anymore because of Ludacris' commercial? If anyone has the scoop, please share it.

Pepsi-Cola Pulls Ads Starring Rapper Ludacris Thu Aug 29, 9:26 AM ET By Steve Gorman LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The latest ad campaign aimed at cultivating a new Pepsi generation among minority consumers has lost a lot of its fizz. Pepsi-Cola of North America said on Wednesday that it was yanking its 30-second television spot featuring rapper Ludacris off the air because of consumer complaints about his sexually explicit, profanity-laden lyrics. "We have a responsibility to listen to our consumers and customers and we've heard from a number of people that were uncomfortable with our association with this artist," the PepsiCo Inc. unit said in a statement. "We've decided to discontinue our ad campaign with this artist and we're sorry that we've offended anyone." A spokeswoman for the rap star's label, Def Jam, said she was "shocked" to learn Pepsi was pulling the ads. She had no other immediate comment. The move comes a day after cable TV's Bill O'Reilly, host of Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor," assailed Pepsi as "immoral" for using Ludacris to promote its product and urged his viewers to boycott the beverage company. "I'm calling for all responsible Americans to fight back and punish Pepsi for using a man who degrades women, who encourages substance abuse, and does all the things that hurt particularly the poor in our society," O'Reilly said. He cited lyrics from a song on the 2001 Ludacris album "Word of Mouf," in which the hip-hop artist raps the refrain, "I've got ho's in different area codes," using street slang for the word "whores." Ludacris was one of several entertainers, including Colombian-born singer Shakira and TV star Bernie Mac, enlisted by Pepsi this year as part of a new "multicultural" ad campaign aimed at minorities. The Ludacris spots, showing him performing and drinking Pepsi, began airing nationally in June, Pepsi spokesman Bart Casabona said. The Atlanta-based Ludacris, one of the biggest names in hip-hop's "Dirty South" movement, has earned a reputation as among the most carnally oriented of the chart-topping rappers on urban radio. "I don't think we knew the extent" to which his material was sexually explicit, Casabona said, adding that the decision to drop the ads was "driven by the responses from our consumers." Ludacris was not the first recording star to land Pepsi in hot water. After paying Madonna ( news - web sites) a reported $5 million for a yearlong contract, Pepsi in 1989 dropped a commercial featuring the pop singer. It claimed too many people confused it with the controversial video "Like A Prayer," in which Madonna appeared with stigmata wounds on her hands and sang in front of burning crosses. Of course, that spot may seem tame compared to the provocative costumes and stage antics of pop princess Britney Spears, who has become one of Pepsi's biggest celebrity endorsers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright © 2002 Reuters Limited. WHAT?
I talked about this on my show this morning. What the HELL was Pepsi thinking? Just because O'Reily says something, you have no backbone? And I agree, I love Britney, but damn she has more drama surrounding her than Luda!
This is just like Madonna when she got pulled from Pepsi. But she still got her 5 million and I'm sure Luda is going to get his cash also. QTE |
Micheal Jackson @ the MTV awards
In observation: Looks as if Micheal has gained a little weigh around the waist and I like his partial wig (clue: you can't see the scalp as the part precedes to the middle of the head).

Big ol' handsome Denzel Washington's lil' boy plays fooball
--------------------
Denzel's Son Plays College Football -------------------- By The Associated Press August 30, 2002, 8:55 AM EDT ATLANTA --Denzel Washington plans to be in the crowd Saturday when his son plays in his first college football game. John Davis Washington, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound running back for Morehouse, will definitely play against Fort Valley State in Macon, according to his coach -- and not just because his Oscar-winning father will be watching. "John Davis is going to be in there a lot, absolutely," Morehouse coach Willard Scissum said. "He's an explosive back who has the ability to see openings and hit creases." The younger Washington rushed for 1,980 yards and 26 touchdowns last season at Campbell Hall High School in North Hollywood, Calif. He likely will split time with Morehouse senior Nate Zachery, who has been slowed by injury. Patty Jackson The 411
In our last update I talked about The Temptations getting into a fight with promoters in Jamaica. I have to clarify which Temptations were involved in the scuffle. The Temptations that got into a fight with promoters in Jamaica were Dennis Edwards and the Temptations Revue. It was not Otis Williams and the Original Temptations. Does Janet Jackson have a secret child? Years ago there were stories going around that Janet had a baby around the time she was married to James Debarge but she always denied it. Well during the time Janet was dating Justin Timberlake sources say he found out about her secret and freaked out. This child is now 18 and I hear she's a girl. Will Janet come forward one day and tell the truth? Janet and Justin are no longer dating and he is keeping his distance from Janet. The R Kelly scandal is profiled in the latest edition of GQ Magazine. In the article, its detailed how R Kelly has been messing around with young girls for years. The article also talks about the 14 year old girl on the sex tape with R Kelly. This girl is R Kelly's goddaughter, she's the daughter of a guitarist in his band and she is the niece of former R Kelly Protégé Sparkle. Other highlights in the article are his marriage to Aaliyah, how R Kelly was molested as a young child by an older man, how the infamous sex tape was stolen out of his gym bag. R Kelly is facing 21 counts of child pornography. One of the people interviewed for the story is Sparkle and she says if the tape had not been found he will still be messing with young girls right now. She says R Kelly likes girls ripe and young so he can mold them into what he wants them to be, he likes controlling their minds so he can make them do what women should do. Natalie Cole is coming out with a new LP next month. Ask A Woman Who Knows, is an LP of jazz standards and it features Joe Sample. What's going on with the judges. Earlier this year Judge Greg Mathis got into trouble when it was revealed he had a secret mistress. The mistress came forward with tales of kinky sex, drugs and how she got a disease. The woman was paid off quietly to go away. Now another top judge is in trouble. According to published reports, Judge Joe Brown has been a naughty boy. The judge's former girlfriend has come forward saying he is a kinky sex crazed cheat. A manipulative con man and sex addict that she dated for five months. The 33 year old brunette says Judge Joe Brown enjoyed a menage a trois, where he would watch her with other men. He loved porn and was able to keep up with her because he has a healthy stash of Viagra. She also claims he promised to marry her but after she miscarried their child, he married someone else. Is this the case of woman scorned? Is she mad because he dumped her to marry someone else? Judge Joe had no comment on her charges. Whitney Houston's new LP is expected to be out by November 5th. Whitney is going to redo the 1977 Debbie Boone Classic 'You Light Up My Life'. Executives at Arista Records have decided not to do a video for the song Whatchalookinat. This song was released but did not get any radio play and Whitney refused to do a video for the song. Whatchalookinat was produced by her husband, Bobby Brown. Mariah Carey's new LP, Thru the Rain, comes out in December on Def Jam Records. This LP is being kept under tight wraps. Mariah's Last CD, Glitter, was sabotaged by executives who then gave her music to Jennifer Lopez. Will New Edition be teaming up with P Diddy on his new record label. Sources say the two sides are talking. |
I don't know how true this is, but I heard this from a couple of people and there is a message board on VH1 about it: One of the members of 3LW has AIDS. I don't know the members' names but I heard it is the light skin black girl who is the lead singer of the group. One of the people who told me about it heard it on the entertainment news on Power 99 FM. Another blow to the group. I hope it's not true.

Recently spotted: Sean "P. Diddy" Combs out with his sons Justin (whose mom is stylist Misa Hylton-Brim) and Christian (whose mom is model Kim Porter). Also with the trio was Kim Porter's oldest son, by R&B singer/producer Al B. Sure!. Now, here's the rub: Combs has reportedly been a significant influence (both as a father-figure and financially) to Porter's son, in addition to his biological children. So, I think you know what I'm about to ask. Where in the world is Al B. Sure!? I know we haven't heard/seen him since, like, '93--but hopefully his son doesn't have to say the same. If so, come on, Al--stop hiding out in the "studio," and handle your business! It’s rumored that Lil’ Bow-Wow is actually 16. Judging by his small size, don’t you hope to God that he’s not? |
Found Al. B. Sure
In a quick response to where is Al B. Sure, my wife and I rented the Jamie Foxx comedy hour "I might need Security" Last night and noticed that Al B. was one of the executive producers. So he probably is running a production company of some kind.

Uhhhh Ideal, we need to put "find Denzel" on our "to do list" :p Also, a Grambling Alum is producing a play about Eddie Robinson and Denzel has something to do with it. He is not starring in the play, but other notables will be.... Look out for it! |
