Auburn University bid list is published in The Plainsman online.

I counted a few groups and saw numbers starting in the high 70s on up. No info about quota or UC quota. There's a video posted too on the newspaper online page.

I'm guessing Delta Gamma's colonization recruitment will go something like Alpha Phi's went two years ago: information out for PNMs the first days of recruitment and then their own separate recruitment in September or so. I'm not finding any official information, though.

From my understanding, DG gave a presentation to the PNMs as a whole before recruitment started. Alpha Phi was included as a stop/party during the first round.

There's a two week period where COB has to stop for the existing sororities to allow DG to recruit. It's either the last two weeks of the month or the first two in September.

I heard the count for PNMs this year is 840.

Thank you! I'm kind of surprised there isn't more information out on DG's colonization on various social media sites (recruitment dates, etc...) but I'm also not the intended audience, so maybe it's out there, I'm just not finding it. Or they're waiting until after Formal/Primary Recruitment to really advertise.

1,123 PNMs have signed up for recruitment at Clemson-I'm pretty sure this is a new record!

wildcatfan 08-15-2016 12:16 PM

Recruitment starts today at Kansas State University. Numbers are down a little, 787 signed up per Fraternity/Sorority Life Twitter. AGD recolonized last fall so 13 total NPC sororities at KSU now.

That is correct - no formal recruitment for SDT...... sad for them but it must be hard to have the reaction that they receive year after year. They seem to do well in COB, though.

Not familiar with UT recruitment. Can you tell me what this means?

DubaiSis 08-15-2016 05:02 PM

The girls are afraid they are going to have to accept the Jewish sorority. That's not how it works, but there's no arguing with the girls and their moms.

Understood...thanks.

Does anyone know if Irish Pipes is still updating this? Her last activity was in July...

Just interested 08-15-2016 11:02 PM

KD pledged 147 at Alabama per website.

Phi Mu pledged 147 at Alabama per Twitter.

JayhawkAOII 08-17-2016 10:43 AM

Work is slow right now, so I have copied the pages onto a spreadsheet that I will post as a google doc at the end of each week. Keep the updates coming.

Yes, I have no life...

DubaiSis 08-17-2016 12:30 PM

Is there a way we could get someone else authority to make edits? This is an important enough thread that it seems reasonable to have a team on the task.

And does anyone know IrishPipes in real life? I'm worried about her.

Here is the link for the Google doc. I have edited out some of the information that Irish Pipes has on the full lists. It is just easier for me to manage this way. Let me know of any changes. I should also mention that it is sorted alphabetically by state - each letter has the states that start with that letter.

Thanks Jayhawk.

I love how it is sorted by first letter of each state. So easy to use.

Many thanks for creating this!

JayhawkAOII 08-18-2016 02:07 PM

I do have to apologize that not all of my color edits are transferring, so some of the new member class totals are hard to read. I tried to fix it on the doc, and it doesn't seem to understand what I am asking.

So sorry if anything is hard to read!

ComradesTrue 08-18-2016 02:21 PM

I think it is quite easy to read.

The only suggestion I might offer is when you go in to put the NM totals try to unbold the chapter name and year next to it. That might help the numbers you are entering pop a little more so they are easier to see.

But then again, I have made it 43 years without glasses and my time is about up. Everything is getting harder to distinguish, haha.
