I was just talking to someone's man ;) about Soul Food and we were talking about Brooke and Jeremiah and my assessment that they seem like the same kid, especially since tonight they had the same hair do.

Then as I was talking to this brotha, I remembered that child actors can only work X amount of hours and even then they hire twins to play the part. What I am sure Soul Food is doing for Brooke and Jeremiah since they are close in age is similar to the Mary Kate/Ashley Olse phenomenon. They hired fraternal twins to play the parts of Brooke and Jeremiah. :)

Case closed. (MAYBE, lol)

I'm glad Max and Kenny renewed their vows. It was a cute wedding. I too am sorry that all THREE of their children couldn't participate in their nuptials.

Teri & Damon.......they are just funny. They are either going break off whatever they have, Damon is going to move out, or they will come to a decision whatever is they are doing and move on with it. They argued last night like a couple in a relationship....move your bag off the floor, get out of my conversation....use your own bathroom.

I got full of tears when Kenny asked his son to be his Best Man. I liked that.

See you making me laugh, but I always had a man, and he knows that Wednesday at 10 sharp he can't even trip.:) but I have just been tired come 10pm. I got a new job that really keeps me busy during the day now is what it is, and I'm tired by 10pm. :D

This has to be the funniest episode I've seen in a while, but I can't wait until next wk. My Damon is gonna propose to Terri, I'm gonna have to get my tissues.

The dinner scene tonight was straight funny. Max and Bird calling Terri out about her dancing, and Terri's comeback...omg. And the cracks on Max about not being able to keep her legs closed had my stomach hurting from laughter.

Even Ahmad is flipping out on folks now, he got 2 in tonight. I actually felt sorry for Terri when he said that to her. Did Ahmad not watch last wk's episode, Terri buys his $100+ sneakers and pays his tuition at Lakeside Prep.

:confused....Why did Damon have to lead Terri up the stairs when he placed his hand over her eyes? Isn't it HER house? And we all know that Bird didn't find out she was pregnant until after Big Mama died. These script writers have to get on the ball.

Last night's eppy was GREAT! Bird finally stood up for herself.
At first, I was like "Why in the hell is Max catching a tude for her wanting to change some things in the house! She don't even live there!" And didn't she loose her portion of the house when she lost her money in that scam?? Please correct me if I am wrong! But my boy Lem let them know, "I didn't hear anything when I shelled out $5G's for a new roof!" And all was quiet at the table.

My take on Terri and Damon getting married...

She is gonna say NO. But not for the obvious reasons. That would be too easy to figure out. They want us to think that she will say no because she has been married before and doesn't wanna go down that road again. BUT, I personally have two scenarios...

I think she will say no because something is gonna possibly happen between her and Brian! Remember we haven't seen him since he told her how he REALLY feels about her! Then, what do you know...Damon proposes!

Either that, or she will find out she is pregnant and so he pop's the question.

I was wondering why they were tripping too! I know that the house holds a lot of memories, but damn it, it is not a shrine. Terri can have a 4,000 sq. ft. home, but Bird can't have a new fridge. C'MON!! I can understand if she was going crazy and started tearing down walls and stuff, but some new appliances and wallpaper, whoa! I think that either Max or Kenny has to irriate me ever single episode!

I just can't wait to see how Terri is going to be a blower when Damon proposes to her. That should be good!

Soul Food was really good last night. I think the sisters are messy at times. They seem so domineering and it's not even that serious! Bird is a grown a** woman and she and Lem are paying the bill at the house, thus there shouldn't be such a problem! I'm glad that Lem and Bird let the sistas know! It's about TIME!

I can't wait until next week's episode. I can't wait to see how Terri is going to respond to Damon's proposal.:D

....Going back to the episode where Ahmad witnessed the shooting. Remember when Lem and Kenny were going to question those two guys about the shooting and they ran off. On a second look, I noticed that those guys were the SHOOTERS themselves!!

I hope there aren't going to be any surprises for next weeks finale!


Last nights episode was great!!! The Joseph Sisters were at their best at the dinner table in the restaurant.

I thought they were the shooters but I wasn't sure.

Now as for Damon proposes to Terri. I think that she will say yes, and then in the end Damon is going to say no because he is not ready. I think he is just feeling this married lifestyle because he hangs with Kenny and Lem so much.

I agree with all that the episode the other night was fantastic, Soul Food is just getting better and better each season.

I'm really going to miss them until January.

Tonight's episode was GOOD!!! A great way to end the season.

Bird gave Teri some good advice and as a result she FOOLED those of us who thought she was going to say NO. "Yes, Damon, I'll marry you." :D

Personally, I think Max should tell her boss what she did for that...that....that person. That woman is up to NO GOOD! :mad:

My Mom always told me to be courteous to the people that you meet in the street because you never know when there may be a time when you may need them for something.....as with Kenny and the good Doctor. How funny was that to be the big Mac & Cheese guy?! :o

I thought last nights episode was very good.

#1 Never in a million years would I have taken that girls drug test for her. I work in a job where we can be randomly tested at anytime, and there is no way I would have done that. First off the woamn knew from the beginning that she was suppose to be cleaned. But I know that she better not mess with Max either.

I was cracking up when Damon and Terrence Howard's character were at the bar and Terrence was like he was going after the honey that just walked in and Damon turns around and was like hold that's me. Then was like that is my girl. I was cracking up that he dragged Terri into the mens though. I agree that Terri would not have said yes to Damon if Bird had not had that talk with her.

Oh it was way funny when Kenny went to the doctor and it was the guy from the store. Now why in the world did they have all that meat and no veggies?:)

I'm not liking having to wait until January for the new season, but I do think that I am going to watch the first 2 season since they are going to show them over.

Oh, and I'm going to miss the song and seeing them dance in the beginning. CT4 I said that just for you. :D

Episode was good, but I'm not feeling CGR and that racist $##*&@*. I see nothing but trouble for Damon in his career.

I have to agree with you on that.

I think that was the best episode this season. I am going to watch it again on Sunday !

I do think in the future there will be problems. No one can be married twice and not have a little doubt about the 3rd time. They will get there but with a whole lot of drama!

Good work Bird sometimes you need to be like mom and give advice to your sisters - Watch the ep again and remeber what Terri Said to Bird after she gave her advice "OK MOM" But for some reason she did sound like mother Joseph!

On a seperate note it is good to see Kenny truly support his wife on her job(now he may have not given the best advice on what to do) but I finally saw some sincere feeling in what his wife wanted to do.

Not until January what will the millions and millions do until then!

BET announced they will be airing syndicated reruns of soul food starting this spring. They have acquired the rights to SOul FOod, the Parkers and Girlfriends in an attempt t bring more quality progranmming to the stattion.

dat's all fine and good but WHERE is the rest of Season 3 because each season is supposed to be 20 eps and I have only had 10 -- suckas playing with my emotions. :mad:

I just got cable a few months ago and picked up in the middle of the second season replays. I am lurking through the third season because it seems like some of the episodes don't fit. I think they leave some episodes out. Where can I find them? Does anyone have them on tape or anything?

On the Showtime message boards, some cat named C-Note stated that he spoke to Paramount anf they stated that a DVD will be released on June 24th. Anyone else heard that? Is it bogus? I WANT SOUL FOOD ON DVD!!! I'm tired of us getting the short end of the stick.
